The purpose of this web site is to inform other students about
becoming a teacher. As a child I loved to write on the chalkboard,
grade papers for fun, and teach my stuffed animals. As I am moving
through my high school years I am spending more time gathering
information about a potential career interest in education. I chose to
research this field because it is something I am interested in
learning.
After creating this informative web site I have learned that there is a
lot of work to being a teacher. There is a lot of education that takes
place but many advances to climb the education pyramid. I thought
that if I was qualified I would earn more money as a teacher. I could
have my summers off but there are a lot of responsibilities that I was
not familiar with. Through the research I have found that not only
could I be a teacher but an adviser, mentor, friend, confident, psychologist, and much more. After reviewing this information I feel
that this is a good fit for me! I look forward to moving to the next
step to become a teacher. For more information please contactAngela Edel
