• English Language: You must understand the meaning to vocabulary words and have good grammar

• Critical Thinking: you need to be able to be aware of strengths and weaknesses of solutions in order to solve their problems.

• Active Listening: You need to be able to provide full attention to your client, NO INTERUPTING, and in the end ask questions.

• Social Perceptiveness: Having an understanding of why patients act the way they do.

• Speech Recognition: you need to identify and comprehend the speech of your patient.

• Oral Comprehension: you need to be able to listen to your patient and know the ideas that they are presenting.

• Problem Sensitivity: you need to be aware of something that has gone wrong or is likely to go wrong.

• employment in 2008 : 152,000. Employment by 2018 : 168,800 (increase by 11%)

• Some may work in schools or hospitals, others in their private office and set their own hours. They usually set their hours based on their clients needs. Those who are employed in the hospitals may work shifts compared to others.

• Employment for counselors is expected to grow more rapidly than the average other occupations. There will be more job opportunities for those who graduate.

• Get an understanding of who your clients is as a person by interviewing them and studying their history.

• Counsel individuals on: Stress, alcohol abuse, behavior/personality problems or family struggles.

• Discuss the treatments of problems with your clients

• Write reports on them

• Job Outlook: Employment of psychologists is expected to grow as fast as average

• - Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs in hospital.- Test and evaluate the physical and mental abilities of patients.

• - Select activities that will help individuals learn work and life

• - Evaluate the progress of patients and prepare reports that detail progress.

• Work Environment: In large Rehabilitation centers. The work can be tiring because the therapist may be on their feet all day working with their clients.

• Job Outlook: Employment is expected to grow faster than average. Job opportunities should be good, especially for occupational therapists treating the elderly.
