Statistics summary Cargo Sector During the ١٢ months of ٢٠١٢-٢٠١١(March٢١,٢٠١١ to March ٢٠,٢٠١٢ ) the total volume of ٤٦.٦ m tons of oil and non- oil cargos have been entered through land and water borders of Iran and ٥٢.٧m tons have been existed ,Which shows ١٣ percent decrease in import sector and ١.٧ percent increase in export sector. Out of total import and export, ٨ percent have been transited by road, ١ percent by road and ٩١ percent by sea.

Most cargos have been imported from Turkey (٥٣%), Pakistan (١٣%), and most cargos have been exported in to Afghanistan (٤٠%) and Turkmenistan (١٨%).

In transit sector, the main part of transit cargo have been included to: Fuel (٣٦٦٢٠٠٠tons, ٣٦ %), Construction materials (٥٣٤٠٠٠ tons, ٥%), passenger and cargo transportation vehicles (٣٥١٠٠٠tons, ٤%) types of cotton (٢٨٧٠٠٠ tons, ٣%). In regards of active borders on entrance transit, ٣٧٩١٠٠٠٠ tons (٣٧%) of cargo have been transited through Bandar Abbas which comparing to the other international borders such as Parviskhan with ١٧٣٧٠٠٠ tons (١٧%) and Bazargan with ٩٥٢٠٠٠ tons (٩%) standing as the most active border in transit of cargo.

Is it to be noted that during ١٢Months (March ٢٠١٠ ,٢١ to March ٢٠١١ ,٢٠) The statistics of total transit (road & rail) is about ١٠١٣٠٠٠٠ tons which shows ٦.٧ increases comparing to the same period of time in previous year. Out of ١٠١٣٠٠٠٠ tons of transited cargos through the borders of Iran, ٩١percent have been done by road and٩ percent by railroad. During ١٢ months of ٣٦٦٢٠٠٠٠ ,٢٠١٢-٢٠١١ tons of oil materials (٣٦%) and ٦٤٦٨٠٠٠ tons of non – oil materials (٦٤%) have been transited through the boarders of Iran. Out of transited cargos, ٥٨% have been transited by Iranian trucks, ١١% by turkey and ٣١% by other trucks. Passenger sector During the ١٢ months (March ٢٠١٠ ,٢١ to March ٢٠١٢ ,٢٠) ٤٧٢٠٠٠ passengers have been entered to the country by ٤٠٠٠٠ passenger vehicles (٦٤% by coaches and ٣٦ % by car). Also, ٧٤٤٠٠٠ Passengers by ٤٧٠٠٠ passenger vehicles (٦٦%by coaches and ٣٤% by car) have been exited through country.

In mentioned period of time, the most passenger vehicles traffic has been done through Bazargan(٢٥%), Bilehsavar (٢٢%) and other borders (٥٣%). Also, about ٣٣٧٠٠٠ Iranian passengers and ١٣٥٠٠٠foreigner passengers have been entered through the borders of Iran and ٦٠٥٠٠٠ Iranian passengers and ١٣٩٠٠٠ foreigner passengers have been exited through the borders of Iran.
