Symptoms

IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE BELOW SYMPTOMS DO NOT COME IN TO COLLEGE –

Contact your PAT via phone

• High temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

• A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

• A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal


Development of symptoms when in college

Leave college immediately if you are able (tell the tutor supervising you) – contact 01744 452260 (First Aid)

If you have to wait to be collected make your way immediately to the COVID First Aid Room (next side)

Then phone 01744 452260

Drop off and Collection of Students

The campus will be no entry to vehicles for drop off or collection of students

Students are to be dropped off or collected from West Park Rugby club car park only (students with mobility issues can access the drive way)

Students will enter via STUDENT ENTRANCE

• You will be checked to a register at the door

• Please form a 2m social distanced queue if necessary

• Students will only be allowed to enter the gates 30 minutes

before class start time.

• Hand Sanitiser stations will be installed at all entrance points to buildings.


Entry and Exit Students Please ensure social distancing during journeys to and from college

• All students are advised of the below in this order

• If you live less than 3KM walk to campus

• 6KM bike to campus (bikes can be stored in the 3G pitch cage

• Drive or be dropped off in the Rugby Club Car Park – Cars parked in rugby club from 30 minutes before lesson/session

• Public transport, ‘7 series’ into college will run(NO 1.30pm return) • NB face covering will be required and there will be limited capacity due to

social distancing

• No private college service will run – please contact your PAT for advice


Prevention is Bohemian Rhapsody

Advice and facilities to wash hands –

• wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds

• always wash your hands when you get home or into work

• use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available

• cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze

• put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash/sanitise your hands afterwards


Social Distancing 2 metres apart

• Please remember social distancing applies at all times when on the campus 2 meters apart

• Please keep to the RIGHT when walking around campus

• Please observe one way systems at all times

• Book appointments with all staff do not just walk in – knock and wait for an answer before entering a room

• No sharing of pens, pencils or props


Social Distancing during break times

• Staff and Students are advised to bring a packed lunch or cashless payment for canteen services.

• Canteen services will be running a reduced service to support social distancing. Grab and go menu.

• Cashless payment only in the coffee bar.


Fire

If you discover a fire - Sound the alarm from the

nearest fire alarm call point - Located at all exits

Then leave the building!!!!!

The Fire Alarm is tested every morning at 11am for 1 minute.

If you hear the Alarm outside of this time please exit the building immediately.

Fire

Fire Evacuation Plans are all around the college, please take a minute find your nearest and check how to exit your building.

All emergency procedures apply in line with Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RR(FS)O 2005)

• During evacuations all staff and students to assemble safely as you would during a normal Fire Drill, (Fire Assembly point next to Red Rocks path) once safely at the Fire Assembly point please resume social distancing

Building Opening Hours

• The college campus is open to staff as normal

• All students must be booked in with a tutor each day to be allowed access to the campus.

• IF A STUDENT IS NOT BOOKED IN THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ACCESS

Please use the equipment as designed, as well as for the intended purpose

Report any faults or concerns immediately
