CAROL ANDERSON Charles Howard Candler Professor and Chair of African American Studies at Emory University “One Person, No Vote: How Voter Suppression is Destroying our Democracy” Tuesday, April 17, 2018 4 pm—6 pm, 6275 Bunche Hall Carol Anderson will discuss her forthcoming book, One Person, No Vote: How Voter Suppression is Destroying Our Democracy . Her previous book, White Rage: The Unspo- ken Truth of our Racial Divide, won the 2016 National Book Critics Circle Award for Criticism. Her research has garnered substantial fellowships and grants from the Ameri- can Council of Learned Societies and the Ford Foundation. Professor Anderson was a member of the U.S. State Department’s Historical Advisory Committee. She earned her Ph.D. in history from Ohio State University. The event is free and open to the public.
