Surveillance Act selected as the 2015 Best Article Published in the Journal of Legal Studies in Business.

Together with second author, Cynthia Brown, had article Privacy for Workplace Communications in a

Digital Age: Can There Be Human Dignity While Dressed in the Emperor's New Clothes? selected as the

Best Article Published in the 2012 Volume of the Midwest Law Journal.

Together with second author, Cynthia Brown, won the Journal of Legal Studies in Business Best Paper

Award for the paper “Where Has All Our Privacy Gone?” at the 2012 Southeastern Academy of Legal

Studies in Business annual banquet on November 9, 2012.

Together with second author, Linda Samuels, won the Virginia Maurer Ethics Paper Award for the paper

“Plagiarism and Legal Scholarship in the Age of Information Sharing: The Need for ‘Intellectual Honesty’”
