Board Approves Space PlanA master space plan for the upcoming renovation was approved by the Carol Stream Public Library Board of Trustees at the December 2017 Board meeting. The plan encompasses the feedback given by the community in the 2015 strategic plan and the 2017 space planning survey. The approved master plan features an outdoor patio, a vending cafe, and an expanded learning-through-play area. Youth and Adult Services areas will get complete makeovers. The plan also addresses structural improvements that will keep the current Library building functional for many years to come.On January 16, 2018, the Library Board of Trustees met with the Village Board of Trustees to discuss options for funding the project.
