Also of great interest to the overall health of the property market is the number of new build properties that have started construction this year. This figure has risen by a whopping 28%. This is interesting, because, the new build sector, has historically, led the overall property market, with the resale market being secondary. Although, since the financial crises, the resale market has been the only real market, as new build virtually stopped.
As the property market gains momentum, the inevitable will start to happen and that is the simple equation that demand fuels supply and as this demand builds (which it is) prices will start to rise.
Let’s not forget, that the property prices in our region are still 50% below their highest, so we have a long way to go before we reach those heady heights but if history repeats itself and it does tend to, then we are now in the start of an up cycle and a perfect time to buy.

mortgages taken out in Spain has risen to its highest figure in seven years. With an average increase of 29% across Spain but with some startling figures for Andalucia (50%) & Madrid (42%).
CORVERA AIRPORT LATESTThe last remaining bidder to run the new Corvera airport
is AENA. AENA already run all but 1 of the airports in Spain and are perfectly placed to get the airport operational.
AENA already runs the nearby San Javier (Murcia) airport and it is thought that operations will move to Corvera and San Javier will revert to a solely Air Force base.
Flights could commence as early as mid-2018.
