Business Challenge Based in Dallas, ClubCorp owns and operates more than 200 golf, country, business, and alumni clubs worldwide. As the largest owner and operator of private golf and country clubs in the country, ClubCorp had a complex Hyperion environment that included Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM), and Financial Data Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE). The organization needed to implement a General Ledger system as well as Oracle’s Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) and opted for a consulting firm that could implement both. The Big 5 firm that ClubCorp chose offered to continue supporting PBCS, but the US-Analytics support team was already supporting HFM, ARM, and Essbase. Extremely satisfied with the support they were already receiving, ClubCorp chose US-Analytics to support their PBCS solution as well. Aſter ClubCorp transitioned from the Big 5 firm to US-Analytics support services, several time-consuming issues were identified. ClubCorp was encountering time-consuming manual data validations across their complex, hybrid environment. This issue would’ve created a need for more support hours. They were also going through an acquisition and needed assistance managing that transition. SolutionUS-Analytics identified automation opportunities across ClubCorp’s hybrid environment. The support team automated the loads of data and metadata in PBCS as well as Essbase, eliminating a majority of these time-consuming, manual processes. The support team also added new hierarchies and made changes to the account structure, as well as the applications — eliminating some of the pain from a recent acquisition.

ResultsClubCorp’s complex environment would’ve required several full-time admins to fully support their applications because of the various skillsets needed. Instead, they save money and resources on a dedicated, 24/7 support team familiar with the environment.

Within two months of hiring the US-Analytics support team, ClubCorp was able to save time and money by cutting their support hours in half after the automation was added to the hybrid environment.
