Expo 2015 – target market

Expo 2015 offers a great communication and promotion venue for

• primary producing communities

• farmers

• food firms

• logistics and distribution chain

• restaurant and catering industry

• research centres

• all companies interested in innovation and production technologies

Many different industry sectors, other than those related to theme of the EXPO (than food

agriculture and all those sectors connected to the food production and distribution chain),

will be involved, from tourism, building construction, event organization (more than 7000

events are estimated to be organized during the EXPO 2015) and the service industry

sector.

Case Study – The Mongolia Project

The Project and the aims:• Opening of an office in Milan to develop business and commercial

relationships between Italy and Mongolia, in light of the EXPO 2015;

• The initiative has the support and patronage of the Italian Embassy of

Mongolia and Govermental Institutions (Ministry of Economic

Development);

The background:• The Government of Mongolia has launched a large number of proposals for

projects in different business sectors: Infrustructure and construction,

airport, road construction, power generation, sport and turism sector, health,

education, environment protection.

• A new investment legislation was recently revised (Aug. 2012) to attract

new foreign investors, develop partnerships, by creating the most

favourable and friendly investment climate.
