Sometimes the most technical products are also deceptively simple. The Gabba WS Jersey at its essence is quite simple. So are our Nano and Diluvio Shoe-covers. As is our Viva Skully.

In each case there are maximum one or two fabrics and relatively few seams. But all of these products are driven by a keen insight into the needs of the cyclist seeking maximum performance and an uncompromising obsession over the small details.


In this catalog and in this collection we’re highlighting this design ethos in a series of new products. The Senza Jacket and Puro Jersey come straight from Team Garmin-Sharp where pro racing demands outright performance, a purity of purpose that combines pure speed with enough comfort to help you through those long training sessions.


Then there’s the Meno Bibtight that’s the result of subtle development in patterning, construction and fabrics that come together in one of the most comfortable bibtights ever made.


Creating these products is a mix between engineering and design. The starting point is the most simple product possible, then we find or create the best possible fabrics, add in the functional details that will help make the ride more comfortable and enjoyable, then the final stage is to try to simplify again. Then testing, refinement, more testing, and finally bringing the product to you.

These products may be simple in construction but they’re not our entry level. They’re simply created with the singular goal of making them right for the rider. Seeking that simpli-fied perfection.

racer in mind. Our cyclocross speedsuit features ’cross-specific tailoring designed to enhance range-of-motion dynamics unique to this demanding discipline. Details include a longer center front and more shoulder room for off-the-bike flexibility. We also rotated the shoulder seam two inches to the back

a BIt of freSh aIr MaKeS a BIG DIffereNceWe use the best winter membrane fabrics on the market but still find ourselves wanting more breathability. That’s why we invented Elemento. We start with a fully wind- and waterproof external layer and then quilt it to a fleece inner layer using the trapunto technique. This results in an extremely stretchy wind-resistant fabric, but the stitch holes give just the right amount of air permeability. The result is a continuous exchange of air on the inside of the garment that carries away moisture much better than fully sealed fabrics.

We built this into a jacket that’s designed for those five-hour winter training rides where you’re planning your July conquests. But it works equally well for the one-hour lunchtime ride that you manage to sneak into your busy day, since it only needs a base layer underneath and it’s ready to go.

The extreme stretch of the fabric means that we could cut it slim. This actually makes it warmer since there’s less unwanted air flowing on the inside of the garment. Pockets are external, so they’re easy to access in every condition.

There must be a downside, right? We definitely wouldn’t take this out on a rain day, since rain will come through the quilting stitching, though the fabric is DWR treated and will shed light spray.

throw out everything you think you know about cycling jackets and redesign the way a jacket should be made. or possibly how they’ll all be made in a few years when everyone else follows our lead once again.

The name Alpha denotes the first in a series. In these products we’re introducing several new techniques and fabrics to construct cool and cold weather jackets.

We’ve focused on two perennial problems with cycling jackets and wind jerseys. First is ventilation. With our latest fabrics we can essentially build a winter jacket that will keep you warm in all but the most extreme conditions with just a base layer underneath. But when you open the front zipper you get a blast of cold air at the top of your chest, while the rest of your body remains too hot. In Alpha we’ve detached the insulation layer from the windproof layer so that you can open the windproof layer to let air in to ventilate and help evaporate moisture. Riding these pieces shows how effective it is at regulating temperature and comfort while helping to keep you drier.

The second focus area is all the openings. At the waist we have a new fabric and construction that lays completely flat, is streamlined for aerodynamics, yet when you drop into the riding position it follows your body without binding or billowing. At the wrists we have a new flat raw-edge construction that interfaces perfectly with our gloves to keep drafts out and to improve comfort. At the collar we have a new articulated construction that follows the bends in your neck whether you’re standing or riding in the lowest aero position.

Our Nano Flex water-repellent fabric is one of those fabrics that seems miraculous. On a dry day it’s as warm and breathable as our normal Thermoflex fabric, but when it rains the water just runs off, thanks to the five-phase nanotechnology treatment. We’ve used an innovative construction that minimizes seams to keep you as dry as possible. While it’s not 100% waterproof, it’s the best solution we’ve ever tried for staying comfortable in any conditions.

a BIt of freSh aIr MaKeS a BIG DIffereNceWe use the best winter membrane fabrics on the market but still find ourselves wanting more breathability. That’s why we invented SuperPiuma. We start with a fully wind- and waterproof external layer and then quilt it to a fleece inner layer using the trapunto technique. This results in an extremely stretchy wind-resistant fabric, but the stitch holes give just the right amount of air permeability. The

result is a continuous exchange of air on the inside of the garment that carries away moisture much better than fully sealed fabrics.

We built this into a jacket that’s great for long rides when moisture management is a must, but it works equally well for the one-hour lunchtime ride that you manage to

sneak into your busy day since it’s extremely warm and only needs a base layer underneath and it’s ready to go.

There must be a downside, right? We definitely wouldn’t take this out on a rain day, since rain will come through the quilting stitching, though the fabric is DWR treated and will shed light spray.

NeVer Get cauGht outWe’ve engineered an extremely high amount of protection into a minimum-sized package. The Core2 version features a polyester inner layer with a nylon outer layer, giving a push-pull moisture transport system that keeps you drier so you’re comfortable in conditions when regular Thermoflex is too warm. But that polyester inner layer is made with hollow-core yarns for extra insulation, and with a tighter knit that keeps more air out.

WarMerWarmer is more than a name, it’s exactly what the fabric delivers during workouts. Its fleecy inside keeps you warm, while 100% polyester fibers quickly wick sweat away. It’s the fabric of choice when thermal insulation is equally important as moisture management.

eVent waterproof fabric keeps you dry in wet conditions. It’s waterproof outside while allowing perspiration to escape from the inside through millions of tiny pores. In fact, eVent is 30% more breathable than its next closest competitor. eVent is the smartest choice for athletes who need and demand the highest possible performance and comfort from their apparel.

NaNo fleXExclusively engineered by Castelli. We take our thermal fleecy stretch Thermoflex fabric and coat it with millions of tiny nanofilaments to create the most water-repellent fabric finish ever. Drops of water stay as spherical balls on top of the fabric or bounce off the fabric without leaving a trace.

WINDStoPPer® X-fast Total wind protection and great breathability. This fabric uses an internal brushed fleece for excellent insulation and to reduce moisture buildup. It is treated with a DWR water-repellent finish to shed rain.

WINDStoPPer© X-lIteThe highly stretchable Windstopper® X-Lite fabric moves naturally with your body and doesn’t restrict movement. It also delivers unprecedented performance, with 100% wind protection, and up to ten times greater breathability compared to other windproof fabrics.

SG0.6 WINDUsing the technology of SG0.6, SG0.6WIND sandwiches a wind membrane between two layers of SG0.6 fabric. Trapped air in the fibers provide excellent insulation in cold while allowing airflow to evaporate sweat. It’s the lightest windproof baselayer developed for the profes-sional in all of us.

7x(aIr) A brand new fabric with engineered air exchange to keep you warm and dry even at maximum effort levels. The fully wind- and waterproof external layer is quilted to a microfiber fleece inner layer. The resulting wind resistant fabric essentially eliminates wind chill, while the stitch holes allow 7 times more air permeability than the fabrics used on our Windstopper® jackets.
