Hi 4 th class & parents, I hope everyone had a lovely Easter break and had time to relax and enjoy the lovely weather. As I said before, do not worry if you cannot complete all the work in this plan! Just try your best and tick off the tasks that you do complete. We will be starting to try out Seesaw this week. We’re all new to this so it may take a while to get used to it. I’ve been testing it out over Easter, and I think it will be very useful for us. I understand that some families may be sharing laptops/tablets with multiple children so there is no pressure to engage with Seesaw every day but you might try to give it a go at some point this week. Here are some ways in which we will use Seesaw: 1. You have your own journal on Seesaw which you can add posts to. These can be typed, pictures, drawings, voice recordings, videos. You can add anything during the week that you are proud of. I will give some suggestions in the list of work but feel free to include other ideas! For example, you could type a paragraph of your narrative that you felt was very exciting, a photograph of a piece of artwork, a picture of a word problem you solved and a voice recording explaining it. Once I approve your post, it will appear on your journal. Only you can see your journal. 2. A few times during the week, I will put an extra assignment on Seesaw that you may choose to respond to, and this will be added to your journal. 3. You can contact me through Seesaw. If you are having any problems with the work or need help with anything you can send me a message through the inbox. Alternatively, if you would prefer to continue using email, I will be continuing to check that. Some online resources we will be using this week: DabbleDoo (music programme) – Go to https://dabbledoomusic.com/ to sign up for free Folens Online – Go to https://www.folensonline.ie/registration/ . Sign up as a teacher to access all resources. Please contact me if you have any problems or need any extra support.

Hi 4th class & parents,

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter break and had time to relax and enjoy the lovely weather.

Here are some ways in which we will use Seesaw:

Some online resources we will be using this week:

DabbleDoo (music programme) – Go to https://dabbledoomusic.com/ to sign up for free Folens Online – Go to https://www.folensonline.ie/registration/. Sign up as a teacher to access all

resources.

Please contact me if you have any problems or need any extra support.

Have a great week,

Ms. Culbert 😊
