Strunal Schönbach is a traditional European producer of musical string instruments that builds on local craftsmanship dating back more than three centuries. The factory is located in the picturesque town of Luby, originally called Schönbach, in the western part of the Czech Republic.

We have been offering traditional hand-made stringed instruments from the best European resonance wood for many decades. Thanks to our careful approach, these instruments are of premium quality and sound. We are one of the most significant ambassadors of Czech handcraft and precision manufacturing.

Antique aged appearance of an instrument achieved by special surface treatment

Sunburst surface finish of instruments. There is a lighter colour area in the middle of a desk (often with transparent material used), which gradually darkens towards the edges, while the desk edges are dark. Golden yellow centres and black, or cherry red edges are the most common.
