HOW TO MEASURE GUIDEThe process of renovating your kitchen stats with taking accurate measurements for your new cabinets. Follow our step-by-step measuring guide and bring your findings to your local Cabinets To Go location. Our professional design team will work with you throughout the entire process to ensure we develop the kitchen of your dreams.

Draw an overhead view of your current kitchen layout including existing cabinetry, furniture and appliances. Be sure to create a detailed design with walls, windows and doorways. Don’t worry about getting the exact dimensions just yet, this drawing will sere as a guide to the basic layout of your kitchen. Follow the provided example for how your sketch should be laid out.

Break out your measuring tape; it’s time to find your room’s dimensions. Stick to this guide to get the most accurate numbers and offer our design team the full scale of your renovation.

It’s important to be accurate and get the correct measurements up front. Use this guide to get a rough start!

Measure each wall of the room and the height from the floor to the ceiling. Take note of any obstructions like windows, appliances, doors, soffets, crown molding, etc. It’s Important to have measurements that reflect these items to create a rendering of your new kitchen.
