Balliu empieza a orillas de la Costa Brava.

Durante la década de los 60 emprende la fabricación de mobiliario para el exterior que sigue vigente a día de hoy.

Balliu se convierte en productor referente en el sector del mobiliario para el ocio, fabricando y distri-buyendo tumbonas, sillas y otros componentes para los profesionales.

A través de los años Balliu se ha especializado en el desarrollo de productos para disfrutar de cualquier entorno exterior.

Actualmente Balliu propone sus colecciones a través de sugerentes ambientes.

Balliu was born at the Costa Brava sea shore.

In the 60´s the company started manufacturing furniture for hospitality, sunloungers, chairs and other products for the professional channel.

As years went by, Balliu specialized in the development of different products to enjoy the outdoors.Balliu currently offers different collections for all kind of atmospheres.

Balliu nace gracias a la inquietud y visión de sus fundadores, el señor Josep Balliu Garcia y la señora Carmen Falgueras Ribas.

Desde sus inicios Balliu comenzó con el diseño y fabricación de mobiliario para jardín con el objetivo de ofrecer los mejores productos al mercado.

Balliu is created through the vision of its founders: Mr. Josep Balliu Garcia and Mrs. Carmen Falgueras Ribas.

From the beginning the Balliu’s mission was to design and manufacture the best quality products for the outdoor furniture market.

La tela de las tumbonas Balliu está fabricada con hilo de alta tenacidad plastificado, y está especialmente preparada para una larga duración y resistencia al desgaste. Los hilos han sido teñidos y tratados con una solución que impide la pérdida de color producida por la exposición al sol, así como las manchas producidas por la humedad.

La tela puede desteñirse ocasionalmente debido a la exposición con aceites bronceadores, al sudor, al monóxido de carbono u otra causa de origen natural como la savia. Esta posibilidad se reduce al mínimo con una limpieza inmediata después del contacto con estos agentes.

Recomendamos eliminar periódicamente y con rapidez la suciedad, el aceite bronceador o cualquier producto sólido con un cepillo suave con agua o detergente neutro. Aclare siempre a fondo después de limpiar y no utilice lejía ni ningún otro tipo de disolvente.

The Balliu fabric is made with highly tensed plasticized string and espe-cially designed for long durability and resistance to aging. The strings are dyed and treated with a solution that helps avoid discoloration due to sun exposure, as well as stains caused by humidity.

Any stains caused by sun block, sweat or other natural agents may occur. This can be easily avoided by cleaning the surface after the use with a smooth brush and neutral soap.

We recommend keeping a periodical simple maintenance of the fabric to have it always in the best condition. Don´t use any chemicals that can damage the protective layer and always clear with water after cleaning.

Usted mismo puede volver a estirar o reemplazar la tela de las tumbonas Balliu.

Coloque la tumbona boca abajo sobre dos caballetes, con el respaldo abierto en la posición más elevada posible. Extienda y coloque la tela en su sitio adecuado, mediante las tres cuerdas elásticas (no suministradas) unidas a los ojales metálicos de la tela tal como se indica. Lo ideal sería que un empleado de mantenimiento se situara a cada extremo de la tumbona para efectuar las operaciones siguientes.

Empiece a pasar el cordón a través de los ojales de la tela y de los agujeros de la estructura de resina. Comience en el centro del travesaño del respaldo ajustable de la tumbona hasta conseguir dos extremos iguales de cordón.

Continúe encordando la tela simultáneamente a am-bos lados del travesaño. Al llegar a las esquinas de la parte superior del respaldo, tire y extienda ambos extremos del cordón a cada lado de la tumbona.

Continúe encordando ambos lados de la tumbona al mismo tiempo hasta llegar a la bisagra posterior. Tire y extienda simultáneamente ambos extremos del cordón a cada lado de la tumbona. Quite la cuerda del centro.

Ajuste y mantenga el respaldo de la tumbona en la posición más baja posible. Continúe encordando al mismo tiempo ambos lados de la parte central de la tumbona tal como se indica en el párrafo 3. Vuelva a extender y tire de ambos extremos del cordón antes de hacer la parte inferior de la tumbona. Quite las últimas dos cuerdas elásticas.

Continúe encordando ambos lados de la parte inferior de la tumbona simultáneamente igual que hizo antes. Tire y extienda ambos lados del cordón en cuanto llegue a las esquinas inferiores de la tumbona.

Termine el ensartado del travesaño inferior de la tumbona. Tire y extienda ambos extremos del cordón. Haga un nudo en ambos extremos junto a los agujeros que se hallan cerca del centro del travesaño inferior de la estructura de la tumbona.

You can restretch or replace the fabricsling of Balliu chaises.

Place the sun lounger upside down on two table height trestles, with the sun lounger back opened in the highest position. Using three elastic cords (not supplied) hooked to the fabric metal eyelets as indicated, stretch and hold the fabric in proper place. Ideally, a maintenance employee should stay on each side of thesun lounger to performthe following operations.

Start stringing the elastic cord through both yelets of the fabric and the holes of the resin frame Start from the middle of the cross bar of the adjustable back of the chaise up to obtaining two equal ends.

Restrech the fabric simultaneously along both sides of the crossed bar of the back of the sun lounger. Upon reaching the corners of the back top, pull and stretch both ends of the cord on either side of the sunlounger.

Restrech fabric on both sides of the chaise back simultaneously until you reach the back hinge. Pull and stretch both ends of the cord on either side of the sunlounger at the same time. Remove the elastic cords under the back.

Adjust and hold the sun lounger back down to the lowest position. Keep stringing simultaneously both sides of the central part of the sunlounger like in paragraph 3. Restretch and pull both ends of the cord before doing the bottom part of the sunlounger. Remove the last eslastic cord.

Keep stringing both sides of the bottom part of the sunlounger simultaneously as before. Pull and stretch both ends of the cord as soon as you reach the bottom corners of the sunlounger.

Complete the threading of the bottom traverse of the sunlounger. Pull and stretch both ends of the cord. Tie a knot at both ends close to the holes near the middle of the bottom traverse of the un lounger frame.
