George Fischer has expanded itsfamily of manual diaphragmvalves with the Type 314 inpolypropylene and PVDF. Alsoavailable in PVC the 314's com­pact size makes it extremely effi­cient for the construction ofindus­trial piping systems. The 314 isideally suited for flow control,slurries, and abrasive media, aswell as vacuum applications. Itfeatures a space-saving, compactdesign achieved by casting thelower body with connectionthreads in one piece. This processeliminates additional welds whileminimizing face-to-face dimen­sions. The 314 is available in sizesV2 to 2 in. with EPDM or PTFE<EPDM-backed) diaphragms.Other features include an op­tional locking handwheel, posi­tion indicator, and threadedmounting inserts.
