Registrants will have ample opportunities for informal exchange of information and experiences. We encourage you to register one or more executive officers (or senior managers) who are interested in strategy, risk management, governance, stakeholder engagement, or sustainability activities and reporting. This annual Executive Conference is a key initiative of the Center for Business Excellence and each year draws rave reviews from attendees. Registrants will benefit from sharing ideas with each other and a select group of top Farmer students and faculty. Because space is limited, we encourage your representatives to register as soon as possible. Participation options include an Early Registration package for $2,500, which provides 5 seats to all Conference activities, or $600 for a single seat. This year’s Conference “Navigating Decisions in a Perfect Storm,” will be a scenarios-based examination of making effective decisions in a Perfect Storm of economic, socio-political and environmental pressures. The Conference will feature a diverse stakeholder panel to explore aspects of the problem and solution alternatives. The Farmer School of BusinessThe Farmer School of Business has maintained an excellent reputation for many years. For example, Business Week recently ranked the Farmer School of Business as the 6th best undergraduate program among the nation’s public colleges and universities in the United States. Also, its Department of Accountancy has long been ranked among the top 20 of all undergraduate and graduate programs in the United States. The school resides in a state-of-the-art building; develops specialized programs like the Center for Business Excellence; enhances its educational programs through innovative curriculum and pedagogy; attracts top-notch faculty members; increases diversity; and attracts the brightest students. Bill IsaacChairman, Fifth Third Bancorp

Bill Isaac, holds a key leadership position in the firm. Prior to his position at FTI, Mr. Isaac was Chairman of LECG Financial Services, a leading consulting firm providing regulatory

counseling, risk management services, strategic studies, expert testimony, and management consulting for financial institutions, law firms, and governments. LECG acquired the Secura Group which Bill founded, in 2007. Prior to forming Secura, Mr. Isaac headed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation during the banking crisis of the 1980s, serving under Presidents Carter and Reagan from 1978 through 1985. Mr. Isaac possesses an undergraduate degree from Miami University and a law degree from Ohio State University.

Mr. Isaac is involved extensively in thought leadership relating to the financial services industry and policy makers worldwide. He is the author of “Senseless Panic: How Washington Failed America,” published by Wiley & Sons, with a Foreword by Paul Volcker. Senseless Panic provides an inside account of the banking and S&L crises of the 1980s, compares that period to the financial crisis of 2008, and recommends sweeping reforms to prevent future crises. Mr. Isaac’s articles are published in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, New York Times, American Banker, Forbes and other leading publications. He also appears regularly on leading television and radio programs in the US and abroad, is a contributor to CNBC, testifies before Congress and is a frequent speaker before banking and other audiences throughout the world.

All Conference activities, occurring on Thursday evening (April 19, 2012) and Friday (April 20, 2012), will take place at Miami University’s Marcum Conference Center. Joining the executive participants for the Conference will be Masters of Accountancy & Honors students. The registration fee for the 2012 Executive Conference is $600 per attendee. An early registration package is available for $2,500, which provides five (5) seats to the Conference. The registration fee covers all conference materials and food and beverages, including dinner on Thursday evening and breakfast, lunch and snacks on Friday.
