Using a step-by- step process, they prototype and test models of medical devices, discovering the advantages and effectiveness of various design choices. If I Only Had a Heart is a workshop in which you will design and prototype your own ideas for building better aortic heart valves. You will experience the medical device design process as you collaborate with other students to overcome the challenges of building life- saving technologies. You will use real materials to actually build your design! Career Services is seeking an IT Support student employee who will perform, under general supervision, specialized hardware and software repairs, maintenance, updating and maintaining website information and support for a diverse range of users. This individual will resolve hardware, software, and networking problems, conflicts and defects. Strong ability to work with a diverse group of user levels, as well as multiple types of devices. This position will also serve occasionally as back­up front desk support, answering phones, greeting clients and scheduling appointments. This is a year round position. This 10th annual event, taking place on MIT’s campus October 12th and October 13th, is an interactive and informative symposium that has proven to have a lasting impact on its past participants. All travel expenses, meals and hotel accommodations for students selected to participate in the ACCESS program will be paid by the MIT ACCESSS Program.
