Introduction
Online Trading is a convenient way for the individual investor to trade online because the trading portal is
easily accessible wherever he or she is connected to the Internet.
SICO Financial Brokerage L.L.C and in striving to provide our clients with a unique online trading
experience provides this Online Trading service that features quick and flexible interaction and at the
same time considering the highest security and privacy measures.

Obtaining an Online Trading account
The client should attend in person to the premises of SICO Financial Brokerage L.L.C to open and sign his
Account Opening Forms providing the required documents and can apply for his Online Trading account.
Technical requirements
To use the service in its best performance, the following minimum requirements should be met:
• IBM-compatible PC with Pentium 4 processor (or equivalent) with 2GB RAM
• Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 or 10
• Internet Explorer 8 or higher Or most recent version of Google Chrome browser
Applied security measures As your Internet browsing is currently surrounded with a huge number of risks that threaten your
transactions privacy and integrity specially those financial ones which might cause magnificent losses,
SICO Financial Brokerage L.L.C has applied a lot of measures to protect their valuable clients during their
Online Trading sessions.
Some of these measures are the following:
• Using easy-to-detect password is not allowed
• Logon process to the client profile cannot be completed unless he/she enter a digital PIN code sent
to the client’s registered mobile number with SICO Financial Brokerage L.L.C. This PIN code is valid
for one login only and is changed after one use regardless log in was successful or not
• Browsing session expires automatically after a specific idle time.
• User cannot use “back” button to revert to the profile page without re-entering the credentials
once again in addition to a new PIN code.
Accessing the service You can access the service through one of two ways:
1. Clicking the service link on the SICO Financial Brokerage L.L.C website main page:
http://www.sicouae.com
2. Directly visit the service Web Portal: https://trading.sicouae.com
Using the service
After applying for the Online Trading service, an Online Trading account is created for the client
whereupon:
1. An e-mail is sent to the registered e-mail address with the company containing the
username
2. A second e-mail is sent to the registered e-mail address with the company containing an
initial password.
3. Once the client logs in using the above credentials successfully, he will be transferred to the
PIN code page.
4. SMS message is sent to the registered mobile number with the company containing the
PIN code.
5. Once the PIN code is entered correctly and to preserve his/her privacy, the client will be
forwarded to the Change Password page to change the initial password and select a new
one.
6. The initial password provided should be used as the Current Password.
7. The new password should meet the requirements shown in the above snapshot.
8. Client should re-enter the new password in the Confirm New Password box
9. After changing the password successfully, the client will be returned to Login Page.
10. The client can now use his username and new password until the password validity
reaches its expiry date (currently 40 days) then, he/she should change his password again.
11. Once logged in to the service portal using his credentials successfully, the client will be
forwarded to the PIN code page.
12. The client will receive SMS on his registered mobile number with the company containing
the PIN code and once he enters the code correctly, he/she will get his Online Trading
profile page.
Create your personal profile: Start by creating your personal profile by clicking the “+” sign beside the
Profile drop down list.
After creating your personal profile, you can easily use the below menus:
• Market Info
• Account
• Workspace
• Operations
Sub-menus are available for market information and account details allowing you to create your
own workspace.
Market Info
Using the above, you can create your workspace in a way that is convenient for you
Market Watch: shows all the market information details. Upon the first use after creating your new profile, the
Market Watch window shows with no content.
You can modify the Market Watch screen to show or hide the required security or the columns using the menu on the left side of the screen.
Select the desired exchange from the market drop-down menu then double-click on the security you
need to add (or delete) to (from) your Market Watch screen or click Add All button to add all the security
in the selected market (or click Clear Market to delete all securities in the selected market) and click
Finish to save your selection.
Index screen:
Other sub menus include:
- Top Gainers : shows the top gaining securities
- Top Losers : shows the top losing securities
- Top by Volume : shows the securities with the highest traded volume
- Top by Value : shows the securities with the highest traded value
Moreover, there is a screen to show the market summary including market movements and number of
trades in addition to trading volume and total indexes
Order Entry
You can enter your Buy/Sell orders by clicking Account then Order Entry then, select the required
security, enter the order details then click Send to the Market.
Alternatively, to place the order click on the security name in your Market Watch screen and select Buy
or Sell.
Account
The Account screen shows all the information: Order Entry, Order Book, Trade Book, Financial Status,
Statement, Portfolio, and Client Information
You can create your own space using the above options
Order Entry screen contains the below details:
Market : shows the available markets to trade on
Account No. : shows your available account to trade with
Qty : to enter the number of shares to trade
Price : to enter the trade price you want to place your order at
Type : to select either it is Buy or Sell order
TIF (Time in Force) : to select the order validity
• One Day: keeps the order valid till the end of the day’s trading session.
No notification is sent to the client upon expiry of the order by the end of the day
• Good until Date: keeps the order valid until the date specified.
No notification is sent to the client upon expiry of the order by the date specified
In case no date specified, the order will be considered to be One Day order
• Good Till Week: keeps the order valid till the end of the last day’s trading session of this week
No notification is sent to the client upon expiry of the order by the end of such day
• Good Till Month: keeps the order valid till the end of the last day’s trading session of this month
No notification is sent to the client upon expiry of the order by the end of such day
• Fill Or Kill : the order to be fully executed one tranche (no partial fills) or to be cancelled
• Fill And Kill : once the order has been partially filled, the rest of the order quantity is to be
cancelled. Otherwise, if it is available, the order can be fully executed (without
any partial fills)
Order Book : shows all the placed orders either executed or not in addition to the rejected ones.
You can get your all orders and export them to Microsoft Excel or PDF file
Trade Book : shows all executed orders either fully (Fully Filled) or partially (Partially Filled)
You can get your executed orders and export them to Microsoft Excel or PDF file
Financial Status : shows the trading statement and Buying Power. This screen shows as below
Statement : shows all the financial transactions related to your account (debit/credit) and shows as
below:
Portfolio : shows the owned shares in the client’s account and the details of each security.
Saving your settings
It is recommended to save your settings once again to get your profile next time as you have left it the last
session.
This can be done by clicking Workspace then Save
Change your password
You can change your password by clicking Operations the Password
You will be forwarded the Change Password page you used the first time you used your credentials
Language
You can change the interface language from English to Arabic by clicking Operations then " "عربي
Logging Out
Upon leaving the session, it is recommended to save your profile settings again as mentioned above and
for security best practices, to log off by clicking Log Out
Resetting Online Trading Password and Unlocking the Account In case you forget your password, or incorrectly entered your password 4 times (which locks your
account), you have to call the Online Trading customer service (on +97126590190) to reset your
password or unlock your account
