Jason states: “It is my ultimate goal with this ministry to strengthen the Christian’s foundation and their defense for the hope inside each one of us.” The Greek words Paradechomai, Suniemi, and Katechousi are based on the parables given by Jesus in the Gospels, denoting ‘“receiving’” in order to bear fruit. Jason continues, “I believe that teaching Christians how to use the tools of Science, combined with Biblical knowledge and the teachings of Christ, will bear much fruit in the lives of our youth as well as adult Christians. Creation versus evolution is a much publicized battle going on in the world today. Do you know where you stand on this issue? Can you defend your position? I’ll give you the tools and the knowledge to do so.” Teaching Christians How To Use The Tools Of Science Science is often viewed as a faultless method of finding truth, but in reality it is nothing more than a tool. People use the tool, and bring along certain expectations and ideas that reflect their worldview. Christians should not be afraid of the tools of science, but see them as an excellent way to prove God’s creative power. Paradechomai means to receive with open arms, welcome, or embrace, also acknowledge as one’s own. Mark 4:20 says “Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word accept it, and produce a crop- thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown.” Teaching The Biblical Worldview Christianity employs a way of viewing the world that is based on the Bible as its ultimate standard. When the Spirit of God is shown strong using a Biblical worldview, the world makes sense, the Bible comes alive and witnesses to our spirit that God is who He says He is. Suniemi means to comprehend, mentally grasp or see how it all fits together; activity of the mind denoting assembling of the individual facts into an organized whole. Teaching Christians how to use the tools of Science, in light of a Biblical Worldview, in order to elevate the Word of God, which reveals the living word; Jesus Christ

Jason Scroger, has been working on my Creation tutor ministry in Lockport. Jason states: “It is my ultimate goal with this ministry to strengthen the Christian’s foundation and their defense for the hope inside each one of us.”

The Greek words Paradechomai, Suniemi, and Katechousi are based on the parables given by Jesus in the Gospels, denoting ‘“receiving’” in order to bear fruit.

I’ll give you the

tools and the knowledge to do so.”

Teaching Christians How To Use The Tools Of Science

Science is often viewed as a faultless method of finding truth, but in reality it is nothing more than a tool. Mark 4:20 says “Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word accept it, and produce a crop- thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown.”

Teaching The Biblical Worldview

Christianity employs a way of viewing the world that is based on the Bible as its ultimate standard. When the Spirit of God is shown strong using a Biblical worldview, the world makes sense, the Bible comes alive and witnesses to our spirit that God

is who He says He is. Suniemi means to comprehend, mentally grasp or see how it all fits together; activity of the mind denoting assembling of the individual facts into an organized whole. Mathew 13:23 says “But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.”

Teaching To Show Why God’s Word Is TrueWhen science is used in context of a Biblical

worldview, evidence makes sense, and we see the way the world actually is. I want Christians to know and to believe that God’s Word is true, they can trust it, and it is a rock that cannot be shaken. Katechousin means to hold firmly so that something will not be snatched away. Luke 8:45 states “But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble heart, who hear the word, retain it, and preserving produce a crop.”

Churches Creating Community

As ministries of Pendleton Center Unit-ed Methodist Church, Genesis Mom’s Morn-ing Out and Preschool programs exist to provide your children with a quality Christian experience. Recog-nizing each child as a unique individual, we seek to provide a com-fortable atmosphere in which to grow, thus allowing each child’s

development to blos-som in a natural way. Both programs are run by our experienced and dedicated Chris-tian teaching staff. All children are admitted, without regard to race, color or creed. Classes generally follow Star-point’s calendar.

Genesis Mom's Morning Out is a Toddler program for children 1 & 2 years

of age. This program is designed to enhance social and emotional growth. Little ones have fun playing with others, growing social skills, and strengthen-ing their large motor skills in our spacious gym. Trained and nurturing adults super-vise and care for your child while you get some time to yourself to relax or run errands!

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2011.

• Program hours are Monday & Friday, 9am - noon.

• Tuition: Full time (M & F) $65/month; Part time (M or F) $35/month.

• The program runs September 12, 2011 - June 8, 2012

Please contact the office at 625-8306 for registration informa-tion.

Genesis Preschool is for children 3 years of age - 6 years of age. Our preschool is well known in the district for our talented teach-ers and great program to build kindergarten readiness skills. This program helps chil-dren build and develop social and emotional skills, large motor and fine motor skills, and build skills for learn-ing concepts such as language development, recognition of shapes, letters, numbers, op-posites, patterning,

writing, and count-ing. We help enhance and develop all the skills needed to well prepare your child for kindergarten. Some of our classes are full; however, we still have openings in the follow-ing fall 2011 Preschool classes:

• 5-day Kindergarten readiness class for ages

4-5 (Monday - Friday 9:30am-12:00pm)

• 3-day class for age 4 (Monday, Wednes-day, Friday 12:30-3pm)

• 2- day class for age 3 (Tuesday, Thursday 12:30-3pm)

Please contact the office at 625-8306 for registration informa-tion.

Our volunteer organization provides free pregnancy tests, compassionate peer counseling, truthful resources, material support and educational classes for girls, women and men who find themselves in unplanned pregnancies. Young women today are looking for assistance not only for the circumstances that they find themselves in, but they are also seeking an avenue of compassionate communication with trained individuals who are non-judgmental and who are interested in their overall welfare as well as the welfare of the new life they are carrying. Our vision is to create a culture where lives are transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and every woman is afforded the opportunity to choose life for herself and her unborn child.

PRAY:  CareNet firmly believes that prayer is the life-blood of our ministry. Please lift our work and the work of our local centers up in prayer.

DONATE:  As a non-profit organization, CareNet relies on the generosity of individual supporters and private foundations to carry out our mission. Churches and organizations can also consider hosting baby showers for the Center.

VOLUNTEER: CareNet centers are reliant on volunteers to carry out their important work and provide needed services to their local communities. A 21-hour training course is required to work with clients and this will be offered in July. If anyone is interested they can call the office at 434-1771 For more details or find out more about the Center, please visit our website at www.lockportcarenet.com.
