Creating and Using Personal RSS Feeds

1. Keep up with current events by subscribing to news feeds such as the Weather Channel, BBC and Reuters.

2. Monitor actual events in real time such as Groundhog’s Day by subscribing to weather feeds including The Weather Channel website.

3. Stay on the cutting edge by subscribing to education research feeds such as Education Week.

4. Increase your personal library of supplemental resources by subscribing to content specific feeds such as Wild About Math or The History Channel.

5. I recommend setting up RSS Feeds when you want to bring in timely events then discontinuing the RSS Feeds when the issue is no longer current. This best practice will help keep your CCC! Streaming Media system displaying fresh, targeted current events info when/where you need and want it.

An Organizational Strategy
