your patience and your help in making

the new bridge a reality.

We are also finalizing plans for our an-

nual 9/11 Memorial Service. I hope

you’ll join us at the Heroes Memorial

as we remember those 3,000 Americans

who lost their lives on that terrible day

There are a few items the Board will be

considering this month regarding com-

mercial vehicles parked in residential

areas of the City. If you regularly drive

such a vehicle home, I encourage you

to review the proposed changes and let

your Aldermen know your thoughts. I

think everyone wants to make sure we

get this right the first time.

At last month’s Board meeting, the

Board voted unanimously not to pay

our membership dues to the St. Louis

County Municipal League. This is in

response to the League taking a posi-

tion on the sales tax redistribution that

would have cost Fenton even more

money that we are losing today. It is

the Board’s view that the League, as an

organization, should be neutral on this

issue, and should stick to its stated pur-

pose “to provide a vehicle for coopera-
