Announcements

1. If you are interested in signing up for leadership, or join small groups, please register at the computer station at the end of the night or before you leave

2. We’ll be having dinner tonight and every Wednesday night after the program in the Student Center. Come join us!

3. Next week we’ll be heading downtown. We’ll be doing a Prayer Walk and $2 Gift of Kindness, where we talk to the homeless. Please bring $2 and 2 tokens. We will still meet here first at 6:30.

4. Membership has changed this year. We want to be more serious about this, because we believe election, voting and leadership is a serious matter. To be a member, you must1. Be a York Student2. Sign in agreement with the Purpose and Statement of Faith3. Present in at least two-thirds of Wednesday programs

If you are not a member, you’ll still be able to attend any and all meetings. There will be no discrimination due to membership. (To be honest, it’s for voting privileges, committee and easier paperwork).

Chinese Christian Fellowship exists to strive to cultivate individuals with a Kingdom Mindset. Jesus prays in the Bible, “God’s Kingdom come, God’s will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) We, as CCF, are witnessing God’s Heaven on Earth through the following:

• Spiritually – by believing that it is not our own kingdoms we are

trying to build up, but God’s. We lay down our kingdoms before Lord Jesus Christ to understand that anything we build will never be as good as whatever Jesus has to offer.

Kingdom Mindset

Chinese Christian Fellowship exists to strive to cultivate individuals with a Kingdom Mindset. Jesus prays in the Bible, “God’s Kingdom come, God’s will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) We, as CCF, are witnessing God’s Heaven on Earth through the following:

• Individually – by believing that God has a purpose for our lives

and his Lordship over our lives is for our best interest so that we can be victorious from sin and complete before him.

Chinese Christian Fellowship exists to strive to cultivate individuals with a Kingdom Mindset. Jesus prays in the Bible, “God’s Kingdom come, God’s will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) We, as CCF, are witnessing God’s Heaven on Earth through the following:

• Communally – by believing that God has not only called us as

individuals but as a community. We seek depth, intimacy, love, trust, forgiveness and comradery between all members and non-members of Chinese Christian Fellowship at York University. We do this so we can help one another experience the goodness of what relationships in Heaven will look like through discipleship.

Kingdom Mindset

Chinese Christian Fellowship exists to strive to cultivate individuals with a Kingdom Mindset. Jesus prays in the Bible, “God’s Kingdom come, God’s will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) We, as CCF, are witnessing God’s Heaven on Earth through the following:

• Environmentally – by believing that God has called us to take

care of, cherish and protect the environment. We are to be good stewards of the world God has given us and to restore it to completion.

Kingdom Mindset

Chinese Christian Fellowship exists to strive to cultivate individuals with a Kingdom Mindset. Jesus prays in the Bible, “God’s Kingdom come, God’s will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) We, as CCF, are witnessing God’s Heaven on Earth through the following:

• Globally – by believing that every nation, culture, and person is

the creation of the Triune God: Father, Son and Spirit. We seek reconciliation between all wrongs, understanding for the misunderstood, defense for the defenseless so that all nations, cultures and persons can taste Heaven through the workings of our God and can hope for the Kingdom that was promised to us that it will come.
