Cuneco Classification System, CCS
DK developed generic CCS classes from 2012-2014 according to ISO terminology-principles and merged them into ISO/IEC 81346 part 2 and 12:
ISO/IEC 81346-2 was updated with components from CCS
New ISO/IEC 81346-12 was developed with functional and technical systems as well as spaces from CCS.

Airbus: Geometrical aeroplane modelling is perfect for• Geometrical coordination = Collision control,
Consistency control, Size and location control• Maintenance, Visual location identification• Education purposes• Model simulations and studies
Airbus: There is a big need for adding an information structure for a digital information model based on • A common language, well defined classification and
identification principles (e.g. RDS)• Structured digital information management and exchange• Systems configuring and handling in order to develop and test
the different systems of an airplane:• 15 Functional systems (Buildings and Infrastructure: 18)• 81 Technical systems (Buildings and Infrastructure: 93)• XXX Components (Buildings and Infrastructure: 498)
Airbus: General issues to be solved• Structuring and coding across 5 production sites• Use of different languages and terms
The Airbus Example
Common pool of information
Program Conceptual design Detailed design Construction Operation
No common incentive to share information and put the effort where it is best for the project
Types of construction elements
Common baseline for coding of object types for architecture, structures, installations etc.
Based on:
• Specialized function (e.g. external / internal)
• Specialized type (e.g. block/stone, solid, element etc.)
All disciplines Alignment of types for all actorsAll projects
Molio Price data
Price catalogues coded with:
• CCS Properties
• Standardized Type-IDs
• Measurement rules
Prepared for linking with specifications and building models
Molio Using object properties for finding costsCost estimation
Molio specifications
All project specific information is connected to construction elements
Content of specifications are combinations of prose and properties
Properties can be linked to e.g. building models as data tags and updated dynamically
Molio Integrate specification with models and costAll projects
Data for operation and maintenance
Professional clients Custom made data for operationAll assets
