They are based on a CD player which can slow down the tempo of a track without changing the pitch – allowing any artists, musicians, students, and music teachers to practice, learn and teach harmonies, fast passages and complex melodies from their favourite music. The generation 2 of Tascam trainers features an all-new, improved ultra-compact design, comprehen- sive LC display with graphical user interface, album title/track title indication by CD-Text, expanded effect banks for user preset, a chromatic tuner, 3-octaves tone oscillator, and a cancelling function to reduce the level of the original instrument in favour of the musician’s own performance (the CD-BT2 has a Bass Enhancement Effect instead).     The CD trainer line – a product category literally invented by Tascam – consists of three models: CD-GT2 for guitarists, CD-BT2 for bassists, and CD-VT2

    for other instruments or vocals. They are based on a

    CD player which can slow down the tempo of a track
