  • Finding & Analysis :

    Found high RRC rejection due to UL CE congestion since 06 June 2015 at 031108_Anduring_3G all sectors. Its impact to CSSR CS/PS degradation.

    CE UL utilization still normal, need to check utilization per board for make sure all WBBP board still works.

    No site surrounding down which inline with increasing RRC rejection due to UL CE congestion.

    Action plan:

    Checking WBBP board will be performed.

  • Utilization Checking per WBBP Board

    Finding & Analysis :

    Found unbalance CE UL due to degradation at Cabinet No.=0, Subrack No.=0, Slot No.=0 in 3rd June morning and caused increasing rejection due to CE UL cong in busy hour.

    Action plan:

    Need trial to reset board while performance keep monitored.

    If WBBP at Cabinet No.=0, Subrack No.=0, Slot No.=0 still degrade, need trial to swap this WBBP in slot 0 to slot no.2 or to slot no. 3.

    If still degrade, need to replace WBBP slot 0.

  • Troubleshoot # Resetting Board

    Remark:

    After reset WBBP board performed, WBBP board slot no. 0 still degrade. Need to take the next action plan.

    Next action will be performed: Trial to swap this WBBP with slot WBBP slot no. 2 or slot no.3. (Swap WBBP will not be performed for this case due to urgent condition customers too long suffering bad experiences).

    So we direct to replace WBBP slot 0.

  • Troubleshoot # Replacing WBBP

    Prediction & Analysis:

    Need review candidate sites that will be donor site. CE utilization this site must be safe after donor CE performed.

    Surrounding sites of 031108_Anduring_3G are highest priority, but if exact donor in surrounding not found. We need donor from others place.

    After CE utilization prediction calculated and coordinated with capacity team, site 030805_Payakumbuh_Barat_3G as exact donor for improve this problem.

    Average CE UL utilization before (3WBBP*384=1152) is 21.7259%. If 1 WBBP substracted (2WBBP*384=768). CE UL utilization after is 32.58889819% (prediction). Regarding on the same method, CE DL utilization prediction is 15.84976438%.

    CE UL/DL utilization site 030805_Payakumbuh_Barat_3G seems safe after donor WBBP.

    Utilization of NodeB Donor (030805_Payakumbuh_Barat_3G)

    Remark:

    After WBBP donored, CE utilization of 030805_Payakumbuh_Barat_3G seems increased.

    Increasing CE utilization (especially CE UL utilization) slightly swerve as prediction. But utilization still safe.

  • Utilization & Performance of NodeB Acceptor (031108_Anduring_3G)

    Remark:

    After replacing WBBP slot 0, accessibility perfomance already improved.

    RRC rejection due to CE UL congestion decreased after WBBP slot 0 replaced.

    Its inline with improvement CSSR CS & PS (>98.5%) after WBBP slot no 0 replaced.

  • Summary

    Found CSSR CS & PS degradation in 031108_Anduring_3G due to high RRC Reject due CE UL congestion.

    It caused by WBBP slot 0 faulty, trouble shoot was performed to improve this case. After replace WBBP slot 0 replaced, CSSR CS & PS performance already improved and

    back to normal.
