Who is CEG• Central Entertainment Group (CEG) was established in 1998 as a full service boutique agency

representing established and emerging musical talents in the Pop, Urban, Rock and Jazz fields.

As the new millennium approached, CEG’s vision grew as well, the new mission was to become a leader in the ever changing moving parts of the entertainment industry. Another strategic partner company, “Talent Source Agency” - a talent booking, artist management and branding company, (formerly a division of UTA / United Talent Agency ) shared the same vision. CEG and TSA have since merged, keeping the name “Central Entertainment Group”, adding a corporate branding division “CEG BRANDING”, CEG provides strategic and tactical sponsorship consultation and execution. Our senior management team has over 50 years of experience in marketing, event sponsorship, event production and entertainment branding.

We work with major corporate sponsorships, grass roots programs, celebrity endorsements, entertainment/cultural properties and B2B programs.

CEG is a one stop event marketing company from booking the talent to total event production and marketing and is quickly becoming one of the entertainment industry’s leaders in talent representation, concert production, artist management, corporate branding, sponsorships & endorsements. Although boutique the new CEG have been recognized for their innovation across numerous branding platforms, including introducing entirely new business models and new forms of entertainment.

When it comes to new media, CEG is comprises of dedicated agents with expertise and experience across online entertainment, video games, transmedia, social media and emerging technologies.

CEG Management Team

• Michael Schweiger (CE0) has over 35 years experience in the entertainment industry. A graduate on NIDA in Australia along side Mel Gibson and Judy Davis, Michael has formed a solid international reputation. Before founding CEG Michael was managing director of Urban agency “Pyramid” and was instrumental in the discovery of such legendary artists as “Backstreet Boys” and “NYSNC” In current times Michael is known as the pioneer of creating ancillary income for Reality TV personalities and stars. Including but not limited to the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore, VH1’s Mob Wives', DJ Pauly D, the more recent Vanderpump Rules from Bravo, VH1’s Black Ink and Love & Hip Hop and a host of others. Michael has been instrumental in producing and managing many international and domestic events from live musical tours to one-off special events. Recent productions include: “Divas with Heart” selling out Radio City Music Hall in NY with Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan and Diana Ross, and political events like: the 50th Anniversary event for the “Little Rock Nine” chaired by Bill Clinton. From August 2008 – August 2009 Michael booked and managed over 1700 individual events, concerts and personal appearances dates worldwide.

• Vinnie Carol (President) Prior to joining CEG and with over 25 years in the business Vinnie was at the frontier of marketing urban music and it’s entertainers and played an important role in taking Hip Hop music mainstream via an unofficial mentorship from music moguls’ Russell Simmons and Lyor Cohen of Def Jam, (at the age of 17) when he was offered office space and vinyl records of their top roster of artists in exchange for advertising space in his magazine “The Hip Hop Hit List” (the worlds first Hip Hop news magazine and record company marketing tool). After college and a hand full of landmark deals, he served as Senior VP of Marketing for RuffHouse Records & RuffNation/Warner Bros. Records, where he assisted Mentor and label CEO Chris Schwartz with the marketing of projects such as The Fugees, Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, the Sound Track “Juice” feat. Tupac, “Bait” feat. the premier of Jamie Foxx’s professional music career, Cypress Hill, Jermaine Dupree's Chris Cross and more . Vinnie has assisted in the launching or have managed the careers of artist such as Nelly, Akon, Pussy Cat Dolls, D-12, the Outsidaz feat. Eminem just to name a few. Admired by his peers as the first to sale an urban marketing firm to a publicly traded company (WWES) for $1 Million Dollars at the tender age of 25. As the founder of UTA’s (United Talent Agency) first diversified division Vinnie is also responsible for the many branding deals and corporate marketing campaigns, that included but not limited to, Kanye West, Jay Z, Kelly Rowland, Boost Mobile, AT&T, McDonalds, EA Sports, and More…
