Fractioned Aggregate Bins are calibrated for exact proportioning using variable frequency drive belts. Individual feeder belts discharge to a single collector belt. Capacity of each bin is 38 tons heaped.

Optional Vibrators are installed on aggregate bins to prevent material from sticking to the bin walls.

Self-Erecting Silos Self-contained on a trailer with air-ride suspension, these silos are hydraulically raised to their operational position with ease, reducing set-up time by days, and eliminating crane requirements.

Mass Weigh System The Mass Weigh powder metering system uses Loss-in-Weight process control to precisely proportion the flow for real-time accuracy. This provides a constantly self-correcting method to control cement content to the proportion required in the target mix design.

Weigh Bridge Belt scales with idlers are positioned beneath each feeder belt, providing dynamic confirmation of flow rates in real-time. Plant calibration is accomplished using these high precision scales.

Foundations Foundations ship in place and are quickly lowered to support the equipment on compacted soil. The built-in, retractable steel foundations significantly reduce the work required to set-up or break down the plant.

CEI Twin-Shaft Continuous Mixer CEI Twin-Shaft mixers are designed and built in-house to ensure homogeneity and reliability. Intense shearing action delivers a uniform concrete mix in the shortest mix times allowable.

Gravity Take Up Maintains constant tension on the belt to sustain accuracy of the weigh bridges.

Each linear foot is an exact replica of the mix design, continuously blended. All proportioning is precisely controlled by the control system at the production rate you choose.

Aggregate Bins are calibrated for exact aggregate proportioning using variable frequency drive feeder belts. Individual feeder belts discharge onto a single collector belt that transfers blended aggregate to the mixer. Full-length belt covers are available optionally.

Multiple bins are supplied to enable use of single sieve sized aggregates and multiple type sands. CEI can provide any number of aggregate bins to meet your production requirement.

Water Distribution System delivers a continuous curtain of water at the aggregate inlet of the twin shaft mixer. Water is sprayed around the falling aggregates to produce uniformly wet materials. Hydration is controlled precisely according to the mix design.

CEI Twin-Shaft Continuous Mixer then drives the material forward in an overlapping helical pattern to deliver the most uniform concrete in the shortest mix time allowable. The forward, continuous overlapping helical pattern takes full advantage of CEI’s high-precision aggregate blending system and mixes concrete at unprecedented production capacities.

Optional Automated Wash-Down System utilizes pre-positioned nozzles inside the mixing chamber to thoroughly wash down the interior, allowing all materials to be flushed through the discharge gate. The wash-down can be activated manually or automatically.

ProFlo™ Water and Admixture Management CEI designed this system to manage water and admixtures on a continuous basis, eliminating weighed water systems and pneumatic dosing of admixtures.

CEI plants use a water curtain, with nozzles encircling the dry material inlet of the twin shaft mixer, to ensure that metered water showers every lineal foot of pre-blended aggregates and cements. This process precisely controls and adjusts on a real-time basis the cement paste volume, maximizing hydration, and matching the Water-Cement ratio of your mixes.
