ELIGIBILITY
EVERY ADULT AND STUDENT ENROLLED IN PUBLIC, PRIVATE AND PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS IN STATES WITH PARTICIPATING NCDA DIVISIONS
CONTEST DIVISIONS
• PRIMARY GRADES K – 2• INTERMEDIATE GRADES 3 – 5• MIDDLE GRADES 6 – 8• SENIOR GRADES 9 – 12• ADULT STUDENT 18 AND OLDER• ADULT 18+ NOT IN-
SCHOOL
JUDGING CRITERIA• Judging will be based on originality,
creativity, and development of the national theme.
• Poems will be evaluated on form, execution, spelling and grammar.
• Posters – media, lettering and basic principles of art.
• Conformance to size requirements.
CONTEST DEADLINES
• NOVEMBER 14, 2007: Submit school entries to Regional Career Specialist or Title I Education and Business Alliance in your region
• DECEMBER 4, 2007: Regional winners submitted for state competition

NATIONAL RECOGNITION
• National winners will be recognized with the winning entries posted on the NCDA website by April 15, 2008.
• Winning entries will also be on display at the Annual Global Conference in Washington, DC, July 9 – 11, 2008.
• Winners will receive a framed certificate and congratulatory gift from NCDA.
