  • Community museum open Day aldershot military museum, andover museum and the Willis museum 2 June, 11am Help us celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the launch of our exhibition INSPIRE: Hampshire’s Stories of the Olympic Games. We’ll have special community guests celebrating their own Diamond event – their 60th Wedding Anniversary* – and lots of fun on offer.

    the Diamond Queensan illustrated talk - Free banK holiDaY sPeCial eVent andover museum 5 June, 2.30pmAn illustrated talk for families presenting a fun and imaginary ‘conversation’ between Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II. Find out about some of the many changes in life and society in the time between the two Jubilees as shown through the collections of HCC Museums Service. Approx 45 minutes Suitable for 9+ years.

    Kings & Queens storytelling Day andover museum 6 June, 11am, 1.30pm & 3pmJoin Chris Bennett for Kings and Queens and Right Royal Rascals, a Jubilant Jamboree of Jubilee Japes! Ideal for families with younger children. Stories will last 45 – 60mins. £3 per person – please book in advance and pay on the day.
