Parish Donations
Total raised this week: $ 10,002.10 Total needed per week: $11,166.00
Thank you! You may have noticed our weekly donation amounts rising! This has only been possible through you, so we thank you!
Our Parish Donation Report (a new feature introduced in late May) started with May 19, needing $4,610.69 to reach our weekly goal, then May 26 with $4,055.94, and June 2 with $2,961.13. Each week the parish has seen its need for basic operations decreasing as you help to close the gap!
As you can see in the report, the need for June 9 was $1,163.90, a full 3,446.79 increase of donations since May 19! Your offerings towards Sunday’s first collection and the Church Maintenance Fund make this possible!
We are grateful for your continued support and investment in the Basilica, as both a historical site of spirituality and communi-ty parish that supports the faith lives of our parishioners!

Are you interested in learning more about Carmelite spirituali-ty? The Apostolate of the Little Flower is a nonprofit publication and ministry of the Discalced Carmelite Friars of San Antonio. Its purpose is to spread devotion to St. Thérèse of Lisieux, “The Little Flower.” Published quarterly and sent out to over 2,000 subscrib-ers, this publication includes articles from our friars on the spiritu-ality of St. Thérèse and the Discalced Carmelites. It also shares news from the Basilica and the Province of St. Thérèse. Subscription is free; donations are greatly appreciated to help with publication costs. Established as part of our first apostolate, The Little Flower Mag-azine, reached over 100,000 subscribers in 1923. Recognizing the great devotion of subscribers from all over the country, the friars took as their mission to spread devotion to Thérèse, to pre-pare for her canonization in 1925, and to build a national shrine in her honor. View our Spring 2019 Issue and previous Issues on the Basilica’s website, where you may also subscribe to receive the Summer 2019 Issue once it is released!
