Argentina Tango - April

A significant expression of Argentine culture, the tango is smooth, sexy and romantic. The Argentine people have gained global atten-

tion for their flawless tango and recently received international praise

for perfecting their wines. It is their love for both that has inspired

our wine „Tango‟.

Tango is a silky blend of three beloved Argentine white wines: Pinot

Grigio, Chardonnay and Torrontes. A perfectly balanced expression

of style, notes of apricot and apple with a hint of spice dance on your

palate. Graced lightly with toasted oak, this wine has a dramatic flair

that will have you and your partner reaching for another glass

Oak: 2 - Body: 4 - Sweetness: 0

Argentine Culture

Argentina is credited for the tango. The tango dance is an embodi-

ment of Argentinean culture which has become famous and popular

internationally. The Tango Festival, which was begun in 1999, is held

in the capital of Argentina, Bueno Aires.

The world‟s first animated files were made and released in Argentina

by a man named Quirino Cristiani in 1917.

Pato is the official national sport of Argentina. It is a combination of polo and basketball.

Argentine Food

Argentine cuisine is usually European, due to the heavy influence of Italian, Spanish, and

French settlers.

Argentina produces a lot of honey, soybeans, sunflower seeds, maize and wheat. Argentina is

known for its asado or grilled beef where meat is placed on a grill and barbecued over char-

coal. Another traditional food is the empanada, a circular piece of pastry folded in two

Each year, Cru Select offers winemakers outstanding new and exciting wines from the world‟s leading vineyards. Discerning win e-

makers eagerly anticipate the Restricted Quantities (RQ) announcement so they can stock their wine cellars with these exceptional

and distinctive vintages. These wines have become known as benchmarks of quality for the wine-making industry. RJ Spagnols is

particularly proud of this year‟s selection of Restricted Quantities wines: Piazza, Toro, Trek , Hang Ten and Tango! We guarantee that

you will be proud to craft and serve these wines as well.

LIMITED EDITION

When the Brewmaster from the Big & Easy bottle

Brew sent us samples of their new Brown Ale, we

were excited and could not wait to bring it to our

customers!

This Brown Ale is brewed with 4 different malts:

1. Pale malt

2. Caristan Malt

3. Munich Malt

4. Chocolate Malt

These four malts give it a unique and full bodiedflavor. Deep hazelnut brown in colour, this beer

has a malty, nutty flavor.

The Brown Ale is unique with 2 “pills” required to

brew the beer:

The first pill is the traditional yeast pill

The second pill is an essential hop oil com-

pound of the Cascade hops

The hop oil compound contributes to a complex

and hoppy character. The micro bubble disper-

sion of the hop oils promotes maximum absorp-

tion of flavor and aroma components into the

brew. Beer will be 4.5% - 5.0% ABV.

This beer only takes 2 weeks from beginning to end!!!

1. Let the bottle adjust t to room temperature. Unscrew and discard the

solid cap

2. Drop the pills into the bottle and firmly screw on the pressure capNOTE: NEVER use the solid cap, the bottle will explode!

3. Store upright and out of direct sunlight at room temperature (not below

19 degrees Celsius) until beer comes clear (approximately 2 weeks)

4. Refrigerate upright for at least 12 hours (this beer will explode and spray

out of the bottle if it is not well-chilled prior to opening)

5. Pour carefully

Deep hazelnut brown in colour, this beer has a malty, nutty flavor.
