BOLTIGEN - STIERENBERGCelts, goblins and a mystical placeFrom Boltigen the trail veers steeply up the southern valley side to the foothills of Mt. Niederhore. The colourful mire landscape helps us to climb with ple-asure as if we were walking on cotton wool. We get to Grat Luegle (1,910 me-tres above sea level) via Alp Bunschlere. We cross the Gestelen and briefly climb the nearest col. From there our gaze wanders over the idyllic Lake Seeberg against the backdrop of the majestic Mt. Seehore with its magnificent stone pine forest belt. Lake Seeberg is considered a mystical place and is the perfect place for a refreshing swim. The area is stee-ped in legend and the story about the Devil‘s footstep is just one of many. The bizarre rock formations of Mt. Spillger-ten on the horizon lead us to Alp Stie-renberg.
