About the TrailThe Snohomish County Centennial Trail is a recreational treasure. One of two “Centennial Trails” in Washington State, the 29-mile Snohomish County trail runs from the City of Snohomish to north of Bryant and allows abandoned rail lines to once again connect communities, parks and downtown shopping districts. The sites along the trail celebrate the rich history of the area. From the lumber industry evident in the county for nearly 150 years to agriculture, dairy farms and now the thriving local main streets there is plenty of history to enjoy.
The trail offers something for everyone, with local shops and antique stores, public art, regional history museums, fun family activities, and plenty of NW scenic gems. The cities of Snohomish, Lake Stevens and Arlington all provide a glimpse of Americana at its finest, with a look at the past intertwined with the fresh evolutions of today’s cities. Besides exploring the local community attractions, the trail is an ideal place for exercise and physical fitness. The Centennial Trail is a well maintained, paved trail accessible for cycling, walking, running, and horseback riding and suitable for any level of physical ability.
So come on out and get moving!
