The Physical System • LIFCO/Frigoveneta® refrigeration units are equipped with DWM

COPELAND compressors charged with polyester oil, for working with R507A ecological refrigerants (also R22).

• The compressors and motor compartment are connected by anitvibrating bearing and leveling supports. They are used to avoid the transmission of the vibrations made by the compressor to all the surrounding frame.

• The chassis is made by hot – galvanised painted steel and it could be placed outdoor. The panels are removable, by suitable key, for maintenance operations.

• The vibration isolating bases are made by a gum vulcanizes to an iron round plate with a central bolt screw for fixing the compressor’s bearing to the beplate of the unit.

These vibrations, if they are not reduced, could cause a pipe burst and noise.

The Physical System

• The electrical board is in a compartment inside the chassis and it is a integrand part of the unit. It contains the power section, the electronical control and the electrical security of the unit. It is made conforming to the following standards: EN 60204-1, EN 60335-2-40, EMC 89/336/CEE e92/31/CEE.

• All the refrigeration equipment are designed and assembled according to the following standards and regulations: 97/23/CE;Machine directive 89/392/CE; 93/44/CE; 93/68/CE; Directive 73/23/CE. Low voltage; Directive 89/336/CE, CEI EN 50081-1, CEI EN 50082-1. Electromagnetic compatibility; Réfrigération Systems – Safety requirements UNI 8011, UNI EN 378-1, UNI EN 378-2, UNI EN 378-3, UNI EN 378-4 UNI EN 12100-1, UNI EN 12100-2, CEI EN 60204-1

• The refrigeration pipes, for hot, cold and liquid refrigerants are made by copper tubes according to the directive EN 12735-1. The tubes are sustained by fasteners.

The electronical terminal PCO can allow to control the following parameters:

Page 7: CENTRALIZED MONITORED COOLING SYSTEM

• The control board could be programmed for a manual or automatic starting after the end of an alarm condition.

• All the alarms are registered with the date and the hour of the event. When an alarm will appear there will be an acoustic and visual signal on the computer for the local supervision and, if the plant is connected to the phone line, it will be made an automatical call to the service centre in Frigoveneta.

The Electronical System

ALL THE PARAMETERS COULD BE MODIFIED BY THE ELECTRONICAL TERMINAL PCO, BY THE COMPUTER FOR THE LOCAL SUPERVISION OR BY THE COMPUTER FOR THE SUPERVISION SERVICE IN LIFCO AND FRIGOVENETA

The monitoring system FRIGOVENETA monitoring system includes all the

equipments that allows total control of the refrigerating installation by a central computer called "Local Supervisor", linked by modem to our technical assistance center. Some of the main properties of our system:

• Grafics: it's possible to control the state of each variable of the refrigerating equipment and of the cold rooms.

• Alarms :register of every alarm occurred and of every technical assistance center intervention (date and hour)

• Filing of more than two years for alarms and events.

• HACCP :up-to-date with the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Unit Points. HACCP is a systematic preventive approach to food safety and pharmaceutical safety that addresses physical, chemical, and biological hazards as a means of prevention rather than finished product inspection.

Benefit of the monitoring system

• Grafics: allows for immediate temperature

adjustments which minimizes food waste. • Alarms: ensures that the performance for each

cabinet is constantly monitored and any faults are dealt with immediately .

• Filing ensures that a efficient and effective maintenance program can be set for each cabinet in view of its a history. This is supporting evidence which allows you to pay reduced premiums to Insurance companies

• HACCP : used in the food industry to identify potential food safety hazards, so that key actions can be taken to reduce or eliminate the risk of the hazards being realized. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

The system will connect frequently to the technical assistance center, to test the correct working of the refrigerating equipment; if there's something wrong, the system will download all data and alarms. Technicians can organize in real time assistance intervention, or act directly on the system to solve the problem occurred and to avoid other problems for the future.

The Warranty • The warranty on LIFCO/Frigoveneta refrigerating plants is 18 months

long after delivery. • Electric and electronic material are not covered by warranty. • During the warranty period all the parts with fabrication fault will be

substituted. • Warranty is no more valid if the fault on the refrigerating plants part

is due to bad use of the system, or to carelessness of the user. • Are excluded from warranty:

– damages due to atmospheric disaster or fires; – damages that are not due to the normal use of the products – All the items subject to wear and tear.

• Warranty doesn’t cover any responsibility of direct or indirect damage, and every compensation higher than reparation or substitution cost.

• LIFCO/Frigoveneta is not responsible of cooled items damage. • Damages that can occur during unload are excluded from warranty.
