This series of electric pumps isfitted with an Ex d / Ex deflameproof motor (explosionproof) and it has been designedfor:• installation in potentialexplosive dangerous area

• circulation of inflammableliquids (varnish, printing ink,solvents, etc.).

This series includes a widerange of pumps with differingperformances (delivery outputsand heads) and many sizes ofimmersion lenghts.Special designs (no bearings incontact with liquids, wide air-gapbetween impeller and bodypump) ensure:• long life operation• minimum maintenance• easy cleaning.Furthermore, to meet thespecific requirements of printingmachines manufacturers, wehave designed some versionswith detachable motors.

Standards andhomologationsOur electric motors are fully incompliance with IEC rules60079-0, 60079-1, 60079-7.The pumps are designed andbuilt in accordance with theEuropean standards: EN 1127-1,EN 13463-1 and pr EN 13463-5.

The equipment in this catalogueis "II 2G c" certified inconformity with the Atex94/9/CE Directive.This directive provides that themanufacturer must issue a "CEdeclaration of conformity"(Figure 3) and deposit thetechnical file with a NotifiedBody.The technical file relating to theelectrical pumps in thiscatalogue was given the numberATEX03PUMPEX anddeposited with CESI in Milan.

Building characteristicsOur electric motors are asstandard insulated in class F.Rated power and other values inthis catalogue are referred to:• continuous duty (S1)• ambient temperature 40 °Cmax

• altitude 1000 metres• rated voltage ± 5%• rated frequency• maximum liquid temperature of60°C.

Protection degree IP55.Terminal box has one cable-entry.Cable-entry is normally locatedon the upper part.On request the cable-entry canbe turned through 90°.Motors have two earthconnections, one on the terminalbox and one on the motor frame.

XT Pumps with detachablemotor (quick release)To satisfy the needs of a varietyof users, we have developed aquick system to hook and unhookthe motor to the pump body.The system makes it possible toclean the pump body andimpeller without having todisconnect the motor from thepower supply.The motor and pump are fittedtogether by means of a bayonetfitting, while the two shafts arejoined together with a magneticcouplingThis coupling permits:• easier disconnection and re-connection of the motor aftercleaning the pump section

• reduced noise levels• elimination of the danger ofsparks caused by frictionagainst the pump section.

The improvements obtainedthrough the use of this new typeof coupling make pumpmaintenance easier, providinggreater reliability during operationand prolonging the life of thepump.

La série offre une vaste gammede débit et de profondeursd'immersion du corps.Les caractéristiques deconstruction (absence de piècesmécaniques sensibles,roulements, etc... immergés,grand passage entre la roue et lecorps) assurent:• une très grande longévité• une maintenance extrêmementréduite

• un nettoyage très facile.Pour satisfaire aux exigencesdes constructeurs de machinesd'imprimerie, il a été élaboré untype de pompe à moteuramovible.

Versions XT avec moteurdémontable (démontagerapide)Pour satisfaire les exigences d'ungrand nombre d'utilisateurs nousavons mis au point un systèmede décrochage et d'accrochagerapide du moteur au corps de lapompe.Ce système permet de nettoyerle corps de la pompe et de laroue sans débrancher le moteurde l'alimentation électrique.L'accouplement moteur-pompese fait par un systéme à baïon-nette et la liaison des deuxarbres par un accouplementmagnétique.Cet accouplement magnétiquepermet:• une opération de démontageet remontage plus facile dumoteur après le nettoyage ducorps de pompe

• une réduction du bruit• d’éliminer le danger d’étincelleà la suite de frottementséventuels avec le corps depompe.

Les améliorations obtenues avecce type de joint, permettent defaciliter l’entretien de la pompe etde garantir une fiabilité plus gran-de dans le fonctionnement, enallongeant la durée de vie de lapompe.

Pumpen- Versionen XT mitabnehmbarem Motor(Schnellkupplung)Um den Anforderungen vielerAnwender gerecht zu werden,haben wir ein Schnellsystem zumAus- und Einhaken des Motorsan den Pumpenkörper entwickelt.Das System ermöglicht dieReinigung des Pumpenkörpersund des Laufrades, ohne das derMotor von der Stromversorgunggetrennt werden muss.Die Verbindung zwischen Motorund Pumpe wird durch einenBajonettverschluss erhalten,während die zwei Wellen durcheine Magnetkupplung verbundensind.Diese Verbindung ermöglicht:• ein leichteres Abkuppeln undWiederankuppeln des Motorsnach der Reinigung desPumpenkastens

La serie cubre una amplia gamade caudales con variasprofundidades de inmersión delcuerpo.Las especiales características defabricación (sin cojinetessumergidos y con un anchoentrehierro entre el rodete y lasparedes de la voluta) garantizan:• larga duración de funciona-miento

• mínimo mantenimiento• fácil limpieza.Para satisfacer los requisitos delos fabricantes de máquinas deimpresión, se ha puesto a puntolas versiones con motorseparable.

Versiones XT con motorseparable (desengancherápido)Para satisfacer los requisitos deun gran número de usuarios,hemos puesto a punto unsistema de enganche ydesenganche rápido del motor alcuerpo de la bomba.El sistema, permite efectuar lalimpieza del cuerpo bomba y delrodete sin tener que desconectarel motor de la alimentacióneléctrica. La unión entre motor ybomba se obtiene mediante unacoplamiento de bayonetamientras que los dos ejes seengranan con un acoplamientomagnético.Este acoplamiento permite:• facilitar la operación dedesenganche y reenganchedel motor tras la limpieza delcuerpo bomba

• reducir la intensidad acústica• eliminar el peligro de que seproduzcan chispas traseventuales rozamientos contrael cuerpo bomba.

Las mejoras que se han obtenidocon el nuevo tipo de acopla-miento, permiten simplificar elmantenimiento de la bomba ygarantizar una mayor fiabilidaden el funcionamiento, prolongan-do la vida de la bomba.
