General

specificationCentrifugal fans senes "Ch" are high

efficiency fans bemg suitable fo r the

widest range of ndustrial applications.

These include process ai r drying, in -

dustnal ai r conditioning, dust and fu-

me extraction. paint booth extraction

also forced and induced draught fo r

boilers and furnaces.The volume, pressure and temperature

range 1s maximised by careful design

and special emphasis has been given

to standardisation of components ma-

king the whole range a series.Two types of backward inclined impel-

lers are used throughout the rangeChA which has airfoil blades and ChB

which has flat blades. Impeller diameter range from 253 mm to 2450 mm

and the series compnses 24 sizes.Jn the size range 9 to 36.

manufactured in two classes with adju-

stable housing. In the range 40.1/4 to 89

three classes are available with fixed

housing. To enable transport fans sizes60 to 89 are delivered unassembled fo r

erection on site by clients. A large ran-

ge of accessories completes this senes

of tans.

Ch A

Impeller with backward

inclined airfoil blades

The ChA impeller has 12 a1rfo1! blades.so arranged to give the highest

efficiency and welded between asubstantial backplate and stream/med

sideplate.Efficiencies of 90% are obtainable and

noise levels are kept to a minimum.

The ChA im peller is best suited fo r

clean ai r with hum1d1ty lower than 80%.

ChB

Impeller with backwardinclined flat bladesThe ChB impeller has 12 flat blades

welded between a substantialbackplate and stream/med s1deplateand so arranged to give ell1c1enc1es up

to 86%.This design is suitable tor ai r

containing light dry dust m quantities

lower than 100 mg/Nm' or when there

is high humidity.
