Greenheck’s Model SQ and BSQ centrifugal inline fans feature a

unique combination of installation flexibility, rugged construction,

ease of service, high efficiency and low sound levels. These

compact inline fans are the ideal selection for indoor

clean air applications (including intake, exhaust,

return or make-up air systems) where space is a

prime consideration. Installation costs are reduced,

because the need for costly square-to-round

transition pieces are eliminated. The square housing

design, compact size and straight through airflow

also give the system designer the flexibility to mount

SQ/BSQ fan in any configuration-horizontal, vertical

or at any angle.

Percentages based on cataloged performance.

The side discharge option provides several advantages,

from removing a system effect problem, increasing

performance, or even reducing installation labor.

The most notable is reducing system effects. Notice

Fig. 1 how the air, when discharged into the corner, will

take several duct lengths before becoming smooth

again. This is not the case with a side discharge. Notice

now in Fig. 2 as air comes into the fan/corner and leaves

the fan/corner you have nice smooth airflow providing a

more predictable system. (Remember the duct length

prior to or following the installation location should be

approximately two to three wheel diameters to achieve

catalog performance.)

Discharge ConfigurationMake sure discharge is oriented in the same direction as

originally ordered, performance will change with different

discharge positions. Right side discharge will give you

108% of cataloged performance and left side will give you

109% of cataloged performance. Refer to Fig. 3 to locate

an orientation that fits your application and Fig. 4 and 5 for

proper side discharge definition. Refer to the CAPS

program or consult factory for performance modifications.

Greenheck warrants this equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one

year from the purchase date. Any units or parts which prove defective during the warranty period will be

replaced at our option when returned to our factory, transportation prepaid. Motors are warranted by the

motor manufacturer for a period of one year. Should motors furnished by Greenheck prove defective during

this period, they should be returned to the nearest authorized motor service station. Greenheck will not be

responsible for any removal or installation costs.

Our Warranty

Model CSP centrifugal forward curved direct driven cabinet fans are for clean air

applications where low sound levels are desired. Capacities from 77 cfm (131

m3/hr) to 3,800 cfm (6,500 m3/hr) and up to 1 in. wg (248 Pa) of static pressure.

Model BCF centrifugal forward curved belt drive fans are for use in supply,

exhaust or return air applications. Designed in a low profile cabinet with heights

ranging from 11 in. (279 mm) to 23 in. (584 mm) Capacities range from 170 cfm

(289 m3/hr) to 3,330 cfm (56,500 m3/hr) for single fan models and 620 cfm (1053

m3/hr) to 5,875 cfm (10,000 m3/hr) for double fan models with up to 1.5 in. wg

(373 Pa) of static pressure.

Model BDF centrifugal forward curved belt drive duct fans are designed for use

in supply, exhaust or return air applications. Capacities range from 400 cfm (680

m3/hr) to 17,000 cfm (28,900 m3/hr) with up to 2.5 in. (621 Pa) wg of static

pressure.

Model SQ & BSQ centrifugal backward inclined belt or direct drive fans are

designed for clean air applications (intake, exhaust, return, or make-up air

systems) where space is a prime consideration. Capacities range from 62 cfm

(105 m3/hr) to 26,600 (45,000 m3/hr) cfm and up to 3.5 in. wg (869 Pa) of static

pressure. Maximum operating temperature is 180º F (82ºC).

Model TCB centrifugal backward inclined belt drive fans for higher pressures.

Capacities range from 360 cfm (612 m3/hr) to 24,000 cfm (40,800 m3/hr) and up to

4.5 in. wg (1118 Pa) of static pressure. Maximum operating temperature is 200º F

(93ºC).

El diseño de este tipo de turbinas es especial para manejar grandes caudales de aire a medianas presiones estáticas; manteniendo un bajo consumo de energía. Estas prestaciones altas, se deben llevar a cabo en condiciones de aire limpio, sin polvo o grasa, con temperaturas no mayores a 80 º C.

La gama se compone de 9 tamaños distintos, disponibles en dos versiones constructivas según el sentido de rotación de la turbina. El sentido de rotación se establece observando el ventilador desde el lado de la transmisión (motor).

CW: Sentido horario (Giro derecho).CCW: Sentido antihorario (Giro izquierdo).

The SA range of belt-drive, single inlet forward curved centrifugal fan-deck assemblies consists of 9 nominal model sizes. The temperature of the air allowable is of 80 º C, with a clean air condition

The SA range are available in 9 model sizes and two construction variations dependant upon the rotation of the impeller. The direction of rotation can be established by watching the ventilator from the transmission side (engine).CW: clockwiseCCW: counterclockwise

The fan scrolls encasing the centrifugal impellers are manufactured from high grade galvanized sheet steel. The scrolls consist of two pressed side parts with an electro-welded rolled shell. The Sa series are manufactured as standard with an “L” shape profiled galvanised steel support frame. This support frame is welded to the sides of the fan scroll to reinforce the unit forming a rigid structure. This fan support frame in turn is welded to a heavy gauge profiled base frame on which the motor is mounted with a belt-tension adjustment plate. The base frame also includes a number of elongated fixing holes to facilitate mounting the complete assembly.

La serie de ventiladores SA está equipada con estructuras laterales de forma rectangular, construida con perfiles en “L” que refuerzan la unidad, formando una estructura cúbica y de volumen reducido. Estos soportes a su vez, están fijados a un bastidor reforzado, formando una estructura rígida en la cual se soporta la base del motor, diseñada para realizar ajustes en la tensión de las bandas.

Para estos equipos existe la opción de adaptar cubrebandas y cubierta motor para intemperie.

La serie de ventiladores SA está equipada con estructuras laterales de forma rectangular, construida con perfiles en “L” que refuerzan la unidad, formando una estructura cúbica y de volumen reducido. Equipadas con un ventilador de doble oído del modelo DAB, con bastidor común para la base del equipo y la base motor, accionamiento por transmisión; con una potencia comprendida entre 1/4 y 20 HP (0.18 a 15 kW), con un margen de caudal desde 400 (235 CFM)

La estructura de la caja está fabricada en lámina de acero galvanizada, cuentan con una base rígida para montaje e izaje, puerta de inspección con cierres de presión y bisagras (tamaños grandes), para el mantenimiento del motor y la transmisión.

Motor y transmisión van colocados a la derecha del ventilador vistos desde la boca de descarga, el ventilador va montado sobre soportes antivibratorios y juntas flexibles a la descarga.

Accesorio opcional: Louvers en la succión, Cubierta Intemperie.

Aplicaciones:

Housing assembly is designed to provide protection against weather and to protect the motor and its internal components, also having easy opening for inspection and maintenance.

Three phase motors used are fabricated under NEMA (MG-1,1998) specifications, also meeting IEEE; Std 112 (R-1996) utilized for efficiency determination.

Recognized trademark ball bearings, integrated in cast iron floor mounting bearing blocks, selected for long durability at the highest rated RPM.

Supporting base motor bearings is fabricated with high resistance galvanized steel.

Base motor assembly to the fan frame is supported by means of antivibration blocks in order to reduce sound level and possible vibration of drive which could be transferred to the structure of the system.

Venturi-propeller assembly is designed to provide great efficiency and sound level reduction.

Outlet-base is made of high resistance and large gage aluminum, which provides rigidity to the assembly. With welded corners for higher robustness.

In models 26-28-30 and 33 venturi inlet is made with highly rust resistant galvanized metal sheet.

* Los rodamientos a bolas son de reconocida marca, integrados en chumaceras de fundición de metal para piso, seleccionadas para larga durabilidad a las más altas RPM de catálogo. La base soporte motor-chumaceras está fabricada en acero galvanizado de alta resistencia. * El ensamble de base motor a la estructura del ventilador se encuentra soportada por medio de tacones antivibratorios para reducir el nivel sonoro y la posible vibración de la transmisión que se pudiera trasladar a la estructura del conjunto.

* El conjunto venturi-turbina está diseñado para proporcionar gran eficiencia y reducir el nivel sonoro.

* La base-embocadura se fabrica con aluminio de alta resistencia y grueso calibre que le permite dar rigidez al conjunto. Con esquinas soldadas para mayor robustez.

* En los modelos 26-28-30 y 33 la embocadura se fabrica en lámina de metal galvanizado de alta resistencia a la corrosión.

* El interior de la cubierta transmisión está aislado térmicamente para la protección de motor y partes internas del ventilador.

* Guarda de protección tipo OSHA para impedir la entrada de objetos extraños, protejida con un recubrimiento por proceso de electroforesis de alta resistencia a la corrosión.

* Tubo de conexión para facilitar la instalación eléctrica de la unidad.

* Cubierta superior fabricada en aluminio de alta resistencia.

* Dren integrado a conjunto Venturi-cubierta.
