Responsible decision making is the ability to make constructive choices about personal behavior and social interactions based on ethical standards, safety concerns and social norms. Let’s watch a video that speaks to making responsible decisions.
• After ViewingWe can all learn to be more responsible in our decision making. The steps to making responsible decisions include: Step 1. Identify the problem or choice. Step 2. Brainstorm your options or possible solutions. Step 3. Review the pros and cons of each potential consequence. Step 4. Make a choice. Step 5. Evaluate the outcome for yourself and others. Remember that learning from our mistakes and identifying when we have made a poor choice can help us learn to make better ones in the future. Learning to implement these steps to making good decisions can help us to be more successful.
