Appendix B: EITE activity summary Exemption certificate - Electricity use method under the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Act 2000 The following table summarises the Emissions-Intensive Trade-Exposed (EITE) activities specified in Schedule 6 to the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001 (the Regulations) and the corresponding relevant product, electricity baseline and unit of measurement for each. The Regulations are amended from time to time and you should refer to the most recent version before submitting your application. The electricity baseline is not used for determining exemptions under the electricity use method but is provided in the table below as a reference only. The Clean Energy Regulator will use the electricity baseline to split the exemption by EITE activity for publication purposes only. The following table summarises the Emissions-Intensive Trade-Exposed (EITE) activities specified in Schedule 6 to the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Regulations 2001 (the Regulations) and the corresponding relevant product, electricity baseline and unit of measurement for each. The Regulations are amended from time to time and you should refer to the most recent version before submitting your application.
