Field Applications

Real

• Fire Detection in Tunnels

• Ice Detection on Ramps

• Rubbish Fires near conveyors and raceways

• Temperature monitoring of Gas Turbines

Potential

• Any application, which requires temperature monitoring of large areas and/or long objects

• EMI, dirt, wind, corrosive atmosphere, mechanical strain, water, chemicals, etc.

NOTE:

FIS International will maintain a strategy to promote FibroLaser II in the Fire Safety markets. ABB has been handling other markets (e.g. Process Monitoring) in Europe. There is no arrangement forthe Americas at this time.
