Nolato Cerbo is specialised in the development and manufacture of primary plastic packaging for the pharmaceutical and food-supplements industry. With our leading trademark Cerbo we offer a complete standard range of both caps and containers, where user-friendliness and safety are considered equally important. Our in-house mould-shop and long, far-reaching experience also enable us to develop a unique product to match our customers’ brands.

Quality and hygiene It is our policy that all the products and services from Nolato Cerbo must meet the demands and expectations of our customers. Nolato Cerbo is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and the requirement for Good Manufacturing Practice is being met within our manufacturing procedures. Nolato Cerbo is the first company outside the United Kingdom to be granted PS 9000 certification. This is a code of practice for suppliers of packaging materials to the British pharmaceutical industry. The standard is the basis for the international standard ISO-15378 (F-DIS version).
Production at Nolato Cerbo, highly automated with robotic production cells, is carried out under strict observation of hygiene requirements to prevent product contamination. Air cleanliness is controlled on a regular basis and our average air cleanliness is within the specifications for ISO class 8 clean zone, according to ISO-14644-1:1999. We operate vision control systems throughout the production process in order to detect any dimensional or visual imperfections.
Documentation Nolato Cerbo has full batch documentation where traceability of products and raw material are part of our normal procedures. The batch documentation is retained for 6 years. All our products are listed in a Type III Drug Master File, DMF no 18790.
environmental care Together with quality and hygiene, environmental care is one of Nolato Cerbo’s corporate values. We are certified in accordance with ISO 14001 and strive for continuous improvements in our environmental performance. Our packaging is recyclable and based on mono-material with the lowest possible use of resources. Our care for the environment is pursued throughout the logistics chain, our continuous aim being to limit the impact on our surroundings.
