1.Conduct a pre-screening interview.

4.Conduct a weight management appraisal..
4.1Selectweightmanagementtoolsandappraisalmethodsaccordingtotheclient’sweightmanagementgoals,referralparametersandaccordingtoorganisationalpoliciesandprocedures.
4.2Calculate energy requirements and basic nutrient requirements for the client’s weight management program.
4.3 Record accurate body measurements and weight of the client and assess body composition.4.4 Developaclientprofilethatcanbeusedtodevelopapersonalisedweightmanagementprogram.
4.5Record recommendations for the client's weight management program according to organisational poli-cies and procedures.
4.6Explaintheresultsoftheweightmanagementappraisaltotheclientandrecommendaweightmanage-mentprogramappropriatetothefindingsofappraisal.
4.7Conduct weight management appraisals ensuring the safety of the client according to organisational policies and procedures.
5.Deliver a person-alised weight man-agement program..
5.1Use verbal and non-verbal communication to present the client with a personalised weight management program.
5.2 Use active listening and questioning when presenting to a client.
5.3Identifytheleveloflongtermcommitmentandanypotentialbarrierstheclienthasinfollowingtheweightmanagement program.
