Intro

Welcome to Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). This demonstration contains audio narrative. Please adjust your volume accordingly.

Step 1

This presentation provides an overview of a Certifying Official certifying a DD Form 254.

Step 2

The Certifying Official will recieve an email pending Certification.

Step 3

The process begins by navigating to the NCCS module.

Step 4

The Certifying Official clicks the Document ID link of the DD254 they are certifying.

Step 5

Alternatively, the Certifying Offical can click Certifying Offical Search to find for DD Form 254 which will be certified or rejected.

Step 6

Once the Document ID link is clicked, the Form DD 254 is displayed and the Certifying Official has the following options at the bottom of the page: Certify, Reject, Hold, Archive, Hold, and Print.

Step 7

The Certifying Official clicks the Attachment/Comments tab to add Attachments and Comments. The Certifying Official clicks the Attachment Comments tab to add Attachments and Comments.

Step 8

The Certifying Official can add an Attachment by clicking the Browse button.

Step 9

The Certifying Official clicks the Upload button to upload any attachments supporting the DD254 Certification.

Step 10

The attachment is now saved on the document. Please note attachments are not mandatory.

Step 11

History may be viewed by clicking the History tab.

Step 12

The History page is displayed. The History page will give the Certifying Official a history of the activites of the DD Form 254.

Step 13

Association may be viewed by clicking the Association tab.

Step 14

The Association page is displayed. The types of Associations are Revisions, Related Documents, EDA, Solicitation Releated, Related National Interest Determinations Request and, Related Facility Clearance Level Request.

Step 15

The Certifying Official certifies the DD 254 Form by clicking the Certify button.

Step 16

The Certifying Official enters their password and clicks the Sign and Submit button. The form will now be sent to the user with the Contracting role to release the DD Form 254.

Step 17

A success message will display when the document was successfully certified.

Step 18

The Certifying Official can Reject the DD Form 254 by clicking the Reject button.

Step 19

Comments are required when rejecting, click the Reject button.
