    STORM TRACKING AND WARNING 11am Tornado Watch. National WeatherService has issued a tornado watch forDallas County until 5pm.

    3:45 pm Local Weather spotters report funnels forming near Westmoreland andLoop 12.

    4:00 pm Police report tornado touch down at Woodall Rogers and St. Paul. Pathappears to be about mile wide and heading NE.

    MODULE 2ONGOING RESPONSE AND

    INITIAL RECOVERY4:05 P.M. CityHallCommunications (9-1-1, DispatchCenters)Police Dispatch was notified at 4:05 p.m. from units in the field that the tornado appearedto have dissipated around McKinney Ave and Olive St. It appears there is a lot ofdamage, from Woodall Rodgers to Pearl St. The Arts District appears to have sufferedmajor damage.

    5:00 P.M. DamageReports Damage reports are coming in from all over the city. Utility lines are down. Transportation is difficult I-35, Woodall Rodgers and 75,

    among other major roads in the area are reporting vehicles blocking roads, debrisimpeding progress, and trapped victims in vehicles

    Several office buildings have sustained wind damage with many windows blown out,

    creating a falling glass hazard. Your building in particular has sustained extensivedamage to the north side. Hundreds of injured people are self deploying to localhospitals. Those that are severely hurt are waiting for ambulances. Thousands ofresidents are calling and requesting assistance through 9-1-1.

    event of an emergency?

    Other Emergency Procedures Has an Occupant Evacuation Plan been developed? What is your plan for people with disabilities? Where will the crisis management team control the incident

    CERT Levels Awareness Level Citizens at the Awareness Level are given

    a Certificate of Participation, but are not given a CERT Helmet,Backpack, Vest, orID.

    Neighborhood Response Level these members may assist,at their own discretion, their neighbors during disasters oremergencies.

    Community Response Level these members may becontacted via the Dallas Office of Emergency Management toassist their community during a disaster. Tier two and one

    members may also assist their neighbors, at their owndiscretion, during disasters or emergencies.
