Clearly, it is the obligation of any management to have a robust Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), to be able to manage unanticipated business disruptions that can put it out of business. Looking at the disruptive events that are taking place globally at this point in time, such as Civil unrest in many parts of the world, War in Libya, Tsunami in Japan, Tremors in other areas, and the prospect of a nuclear catastrophe loom large. The need for BCM readiness is more than ever before. In the year post a disruption, firms on average experience a 107 percent decrease in profits driven by lower sales and an increase in costs. 43% companies who have suffered business disruptions state that it takes them 2 months or longer to recover fully from the event. Importantly, it is believed that an effective Business Continuity Plan can reduce the total loss by 90%+ - and so investment in Business Continuity preparedness is money well spent. This advanced level certification is designed for

professionals who are involved in BCO project or in

process. The certification exam is of 2 hrs duration with
