It is my pleasure to propose as a member of the Jamestowne Society a distinguished gentleman of Dallas, Mr. Lloyd Dewitt Bockstruck of 3955-C Buena Vista, Dallas, Texas 75204. Mr. Bockstruck is well respected, both in his profession and among all who know him. He is director of the Genealogical Section of the Dallas Public Library, overseeing its growth into one of the largest public library collections of genea­logical materials in the nation. He is also a serious student of Virginia Colonial Settlers, being the author of Virginia Colonial Soldiers (Baltimore, MD: Genealogical Publishing Co., 1988).

His ancestry from Joseph Royal is well documented and any assistance to Mr. Bockstruck will be most appreciated.
