These evening classes appeal to the adult stu-dents offering instructional class time and hands-on teaching. Small class sizes allow opportunity for skills practice. We work with local and the surrounding areas fire and emergency medical services facilities for clinical and field experiences for our students. Certified Medication Technician
(CMT) The CMT course prepares individuals to adminis-
ter nonparenteral medications and qualifies stu-
dents to perform this procedure to assist li-
censed practical nurses or registered nurses in
medication therapy. Students will review body
systems; learn related medical terminology; in-
fection control; medication classifications; medi-
cation dosages, measurements and forms; acqui-
sition, storage and security; problems of obser-
vations in medication therapy; and administra-
tion of medication in various forms.

REQUIREMENTS:
Completed Enrollment Form
TABE Test Scores of at least: Math Concepts 7.0, Math Application 7.0, Comprehension (reading) 8.9, and Vocabulary 8.9 (test administered at ESACC)
Letter from administrator of the facility student worked as a C N A for six or months
At least 17 years of age
Proof of Negative Two-Step TB Test or Chest X-Ray
Acceptable Background screening from the Fami-ly Care Safety Registry
Able to communicate effectively in English
Non-refundable deposit $250 and payment agreement or full tuition payment by first night of class
Two copies: Driver’s license, social security card

How much does the course cost?
Tuition for the course is $725
$250.00 non-refundable deposit at time of enroll-
ment (applied to tuition)

How long is the course? This course includes approximately 16-18 ses-sions classroom at 4 hours each (a minimum of 60 hours) and a minimum of 8 hours practice at a facility. (Approximately 8-10 weeks)
What days does the class meet? Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Additional time will be scheduled at the facility to meet state requirements for clinical hours. This will be a minimum of eight (8) hours.
