Certify the Technicians who Certify your Cabling Projects Certifying Your Technicians Increases Your Profitability Why certify your technicians? As a Project Manager you want to ensure good workmanship, you know it is tough to find qualified temporary workers and you want to optimize the return on investment made in the cabling infrastructure certification instrumentation. With the new advances in copper and fiber cabling technology you need to train and certify existing employees to stay competitive in the installation and certification of high-speed structured cabling systems. At the same time, it is a known fact that users only superficially know the instruments they are using and as a result do not fully leverage the capabilities of the testers to increase overall profitability and to shorten the time to system acceptance. Investing in Fluke Networks’ two-day training and certification program will not only improve installer skills, but also their effectiveness and productivity on the job in project management, testing, certifying, troubleshooting and documenting cabling systems. Participants take a written certification exam to prove that they understand and can apply the knowledge gained in this course. Fluke Networks’ training will give your company the competitive edge to work smarter by preventing common mistakes and grow your business. Technicians that attended a CCTT can: • Work with the standards and technology that drive high- performance cabling systems. • Effectively use the ProjX TM Project Management capabilities of the Versiv Cabling Certification Product Family. • Demonstrate their know-how in a real world situation using the DSX-5000 CableAnalyzer TM , CertiFiber ® Pro Optical Loss Test Set and OptiFiber ® Pro OTDR to test, analyze, and achieve optimal performance of new high performance cabling installations. • Apply their knowledge in a wide variety of applications deploying both shielded and unshielded cabling infrastructure as well as multimode and singlemode optical fiber. • Execute the new resistance unbalance, TCL, ELTCTL and shield integrity performance parameter tests. • Take advantage of the powerful troubleshooting capabilities of the DSX-5000 CableAnalyzer TM , CertiFiber ® Pro Optical Loss Test Set and OptiFiber ® Pro OTDR enabling them to work with confidence minimizing the times they need to consult an expert either within their company or from a cabling manufacturer. • Receive seven BICSI continuing education credits (CECs).

Certify the Technicians who Certify your Cabling Projects

Certifying Your Technicians Increases Your ProfitabilityWhy certify your technicians? As a Project Manager you want to ensure good workmanship,

you know it is tough to find qualified temporary workers and you want to optimize the return

on investment made in the cabling infrastructure certification instrumentation.

With the new advances in copper and fiber cabling technology you need to train and certify

existing employees to stay competitive in the installation and certification of high-speed

structured cabling systems.

At the same time, it is a known fact that users only superficially know the instruments they

are using and as a result do not fully leverage the capabilities of the testers to increase

overall profitability and to shorten the time to system acceptance.

Investing in Fluke Networks’ two-day training and certification program will not only

improve installer skills, but also their effectiveness and productivity on the job in project

management, testing, certifying, troubleshooting and documenting cabling systems.

Participants take a written certification exam to prove that they understand and can apply

the knowledge gained in this course.

Fluke Networks’ training will give your company the competitive edge to work smarter by

preventing common mistakes and grow your business.

Technicians that attended a CCTT can:

• Work with the standards and

technology that drive high-

performance cabling systems.

• Effectively use the ProjXTM Project

Management capabilities of the Versiv

Cabling Certification Product Family.

• Demonstrate their know-how

in a real world situation using

the DSX-5000 CableAnalyzerTM,

CertiFiber® Pro Optical Loss Test

Set and OptiFiber® Pro OTDR

to test, analyze, and achieve

optimal performance of new high

performance cabling installations.

• Apply their knowledge in a wide

variety of applications deploying

both shielded and unshielded cabling

infrastructure as well as multimode

and singlemode optical fiber.

• Execute the new resistance

unbalance, TCL, ELTCTL and shield

integrity performance parameter

tests.

• Take advantage of the powerful

troubleshooting capabilities of the

DSX-5000 CableAnalyzerTM, CertiFiber®

Pro Optical Loss Test Set and

OptiFiber® Pro OTDR enabling them to

work with confidence minimizing the

times they need to consult an expert

either within their company or from a

cabling manufacturer.

• Receive seven BICSI continuing

education credits (CECs).

Real-World Training and Certification

The two-day course, developed by Fluke Networks, is split-up in a “Copper” and a “Fiber”

day. There is a strong focus on the capabilities and operation of the member of the VersivTM

Cabling Certification Product Family. Students apply concepts in extensive, hands-on

exercises.

A section on LinkWare Data Management Software is incorporated into training modules as

well. Course attendees learn how to use LinkWare to speed up presentation of results and

how to leverage LinkWare Stats, a great tool to gain immediate insight in large quantities of

measurement data.

After successful completion of the class, the

Fluke Networks CCTT Partner will deliver CCTT

certificates to the attendees.
