Chair Crystal HGood evening! I met with Steve last Friday and updated the signer information on the bank accounts, Steve and the old committee members have been removed. All the accounts are up to date with the exception of the new treasurer and the co-chair, they will need to be added. I wanted to thank everyone for their patience last month I know it was long. I received an e-mail from the SWC in cedar regarding the condition of the room when we left, she was particularly upset about chairs that had been moved from the reception area to the meeting room and not put back and the outside door being propped open, WE CAN NOT DO THIS!!!!. We are on our last chance with them, if we prop the doors open again we will lose that building for good. I have signed to new building agreement and those that have not met with Mona or Gigi to take care of the key cards and sign the individual contracts will need to do so this week. Last month Andy brought up the excessive amount of work he has to do to get all the literature orders ready for area and kindly asked if we would consider meeting a week earlier to give him enough time to get the orders together, he was met with what seemed like a lot of resistance and some attitude. I believe that as GSR's it is your responsibility to take this information/request to your home group explain why Andy is asking us to do this and see if they want to make a motion and let the group decide if this is something they are willing to do. I appreciate all of you and realize this volunteer stuff can be tiring, I am seriously thankful for your

service and hope we can remember we are all in this together, lets be kind to each other and have a great meeting.

Sincerely,

Crystal

Secretary MaKayla Thank you all for working with me this last month. I know that we had a few hiccups, but all is well. If everyone could MAKE SURE to put their GSR email AND alt GSR email down on the sign in sheet, that will make it a lot easier for me to get the minutes out to those that need them.

RCM - JerryHello Area,Last month Jerry C., JR D., and I traveled to Laughlin and attended our Regional Service Committeemeeting.First, Region is struggling financially due to lack of 7 th tradition donations and several Areas arestruggling as well. If Groups or Areas give to World, Region asks that they consider donating to our Area

or Region to help with the lack of funds. Food for thought, $1.00 back in 1953 was equal to $25.00. Today, with inflation, our $1.00 is equal to 4 cents. Here is Regions bank account balance as of February 28th , 2019... $7,507.37. The Regions Treasurer Report has been attached to this report for any members to View. The region has asked our Area for a Group Conscience on the Regional Convention, should it be held or canceled and something else put in its place? There, again, is a lack of funds. As of now, the Region 51 Convention bank account has $3,100.00. The region was unable to provide them with the $5,000.00 seed money they requested, due to their lack of funds. It costs $30,000.00 to put on the Region 51 Convention, and it is three months away. At this time last year, they had $10,000.00-$12,000.00 in the bank. We will be bringing this to open forum, as well as, making a motion to donate $1,000.00 to our Region. The region is also asking our Area for a Group Conscious on creating a proposal, for an IP that addresses suicide amongst members. We will bring this up in open forum as well. Some requests and information from Region:Regional PR asks that we double check the text announcements that we send to them and makesure they are correct. It costs them $4.00 for every new text message they send out.NA MEETINGS APP has been updated by NAWS. It should be a valuable tool for us membersto use, and World is asking groups to make sure their meeting time and day is correct. To updateyou can go to www.na.org, type in “Group Registration and Updates”, and fill out the groupupdate form.Spiritual Principle A Day Book Project… is our new book written by addicts for addicts. Ourparticipation can be in the form of home groups, group of NA friends, host a workshop, orparticipation can be done individually at www.na.org/spad for opportunities to submit materialonline and/or give feedback.CAN Area will be having a Speaker Jam instead of a Convention this year. It will be held July13 th , 2019 at the Riverside Resort & Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. I have attached the flyer to this report. Thanks for allowing me to serve,Shannon C.

(See attached for Regional Events)

Entertainment - Josh B. Hello all,

I will be motioning in for $249 for the event. Our business meetings will now be on the last Friday of each month at 6 pm at the southwest center. I

Thanks, Josh B

H&I - Aaron V.Please excuse me tonight, I am unable to attend area.

We still have 3 open Panel Leader positions, Youth DT, Falcon Ridge and Red Rock boys. One year clean time for these positions. GSR’s please announce in meetings.

We went over the Guidelines in our last meeting and Andy will be putting in a motion to accept them. We only made some wording changes. We would like to set our budget at $1000, same as last year.

Our next meeting will be 5/10/2019 at 6:00PM at the SW Center

Thank you for allowing me to serve,Aaron V.

.PR Report - SusanHello Area! I still feel really new and uncomfortable in this position and I knowits a great opportunity for growth for me. I really appreciate this experienceand I appreciate everyone's help and patience with me. We still have the CoChair position, 1 year of clean time is required and the Outreach Chair position

opened. Outreach position needs 2 years clean time and previous experience atthe group level and with Outreach. So please spread the word. Phone linecommittee is still working on the binder. I will be putting in a motion for $16 toreimburse Paul for rent. I do have receipts. Rosemary had the phone lastmonth and Paul has it for this month. Please, please, please sign up for a time tobe of service and have the phone. The next phone line committee meeting will be May 4th at 11:30 am in the Puzzle Room at the Alano Club. I will also beputting in a motion for Dave to purchase some more single pamphlet stands. Not to exceed $50. We will be printing schedules for the May/June months. Ifthere are any changes please let Rosemary or Dave know. Our web servant wasnot able to get the website updated due to the minutes not being out in atimely manner. They came out on Friday April 5th. She was not on the emaillist but reached out and was able to retrieve them from a sponsee the next day.She did, however, fix a broken link in the PayPal for SUACNA. I am hoping wecan discuss this issue further in open forum. In order for the Web Servant to getthe website updated, we need to have the minutes out in a timely manner. Sowe will be making a motion in open forum for the minutes to be out no laterthan 10 days after area. Paul will be going to the Regional PR meeting and willsee how we can participate with them in the table they will have set up at

SUACNA. Our next business meeting is going to be Wednesday May 8th at the Elev8 building. 6:30 pm. Again thank you for this service opportunity!

CCGC Jeri -

Howdy!

CCGC has planned the 5th Annual Camp-out!! We will having it at Three Peaks in

Enoch its approximately 10 miles west of Cedar City. Location has been reserved for

June 28-30th. See flyer below I will be bringing one to area as well. Those that come

on Friday will have to feed themselves. CCGC will only be providing dinner the 29th,

Saturday night and breakfast on the 30th, Sunday morning. I will be putting in a

motion to request $400 from our budget for this event. $25 of the $400 will be to

reimburse me for the reservation of the camp site for the 29th and the 30th which was

actually $50. I'm only requesting to be reimbursed for $25, Susan R and I are paying

for Friday the 28th's reservation. $375 will go towards food and supplies. The menu

will be discussed at the next business meeting. Three Peaks has lots of things to do!

There are swing sets, BATHROOMS and RUNNING WATER!!!! Hallelujah! They

also have a disc golf course, rock crawling, lots of bike trails as well as ATV trails and

a shooting range. Check out their website for a full list of things to do and more

information. Last year we had about 20 overnight campers and about 45 people for

dinner and the meeting, we are hoping to hit 60 this year so mark it on your calender's

and come help us achieve that goal!!!

Thats enough outta me! Thank you guys for allowing me to be of service!!!

1. Shannon RCM Stuff - Group conscious on R51 Convention issue with not having enough money. Do we want them to go through with it? Not do it? Do something else? Usually costs $30k, Region only has $7k so they can’t help with the usual $5k seed money. They are short by about $9,000 this year. Majority vote to cancel it. Ideas:

2. Jerry RCM Stuff: motion to send $1000 to region. DRT ideas of what we can do if we encounter this in our groups. Tool to help a group. “How to approach someone in the group if they are on DRT”. Mental illness workshop and info will be sent out to groups. Region wants an IP on suicide. They feel as we get more clean time there’s a correlation for clean time and suicide. They want a consensus on what we think. (Back to groups)
